I must say this game was great all around from visuals to the mechanics! Being a W,A,S,D user it took me a while to realize that the arrows moved my player, but after that I had a great time going through levels!
I was totally trying to do this until I read the one comment:
I figured that I was totally missing something (:
So all in all this was a wonderful game!
Thanks for playing bro!
Love the glue mechanic and the difficulty is pretty good
Pretty fun idea, even though it's simple ! I love the new mechanics :D
Fun game I liked how you also added new features as the levels progress.
Super fun simple game. The design is excellent, with really good pacing between the introduction of new mechanics. Well done.
On a side note, I got stuck on level 7, where it says "If only you could shrink". Am I being a game journalist? or is it actually hard?
I think you are talking about level 11. I feel like this mechanic wasn't introduced well but if you stretch against any surface you will shrink. So stretching against the wall and floor will make you tiny, which gives you faster movement. Thanks for playing though!
such a cute little cube :D
I agree :)
This is fun, simple and exactly what I expected from this jam. Well done (:
Hi, this was a really fun platforming experience. Although, I experienced a bug on Lv.15 where I glitched inside the walls. Haha, maybe you can have a look at that.
Other than that I think it's a cool game, the difficulty scaling is nice. The hints at the top are really nice, maybe try to find a way to give hints a little less explicitly next time ? It just feels more rewarding if the players figures it out themselves instead of having the answer handed to them in written.
Also, adding difficulty to level design while making more fun-feeling mechanics would make it a more fun experience imo.
I really enjoyed it. Good job <3
Controls feel really intuitive, player control just feels good. Awesome stuff!
really fun
Really cool game! I found the collision a bit weird but overall very nice :). I'm not smart enough to figure out the levels after 11 though. I especially liked having to carefully stretch around obstacles!
Pretty fun game with an extremely intriguing premise, but the collision detection and controls could use some work. For example, it isn't clear that when stretching and unstretching you'll restore yourself to the far end of the direction you're stretching in. Also, having more forgiveness mechanics would add a lot to the feel of the game. I like the escalation of challenge but certain things like not being able to crouch/stretch under a narrow passageway when already pressed up against it detract from it. Overall, pretty solid idea but in need of some polish. Nice job!
Thanks for playing! I’ll make sure to check out the video
