Awesome game. I can see a real game on mobile from it in the near future! Congrats to you!

Developer

Thank you so much!! I might consider it! :)

Very Very nice game, but I was stuck at the level with the gasoline because I couldn’t get up again :/

Developer

Wait what? Can you describe your problem a little bit more? I'll be glad to help you solve it and have a better experience! :)

(+1)

I couldn’t get the water to rise even after I pulled the moon in, Perhaps it was because I pulled both the sun and the moon together before I shrinked again?

Developer

Yeah you cannot pull both at the same time! The tutorial says that frozen water cant be moved. However I should have explained it better. Thank you anyways and consider giving it another try!

Very nice take on the theme! The sun & moon mechanic felt slightly tedious, since you need to switch to a different mode, drag something, switch back, and only then see the result, which breaks the problem-solving flow a little bit. At some of the “atomic” levels it’s really hard to see the further parts of it - it took me quite a while to make the gasoline molecule (see the screenshot). And, yeah, water, acid and gasoline are molecules, not atoms :)

Anyways, congrats with your submission, I quite enjoyed it! I’d be happy if you tried my game as well: https://lisyarus.itch.io/color-fractory

Developer(+1)

Oh thanks for our review!! I'm sorry that you had troubles solving that.

Also, I didn't realize I wrote atom instead of molecule, I now feel dumb hahahah

Of couse I'll play yor game now!! :)

I like the game a lot, especially the designing, but I seems to be facing some problem at level 4, the micro world can not form a gasoline  molecule. There are other elements blocking the way, please tell me how to pass that level.

Developer (1 edit)

Hi! I'm sorry to hear that!

You need to get to the top platforms by using the right ramp. Then, go all the way to the left by walking in front of the red atom, and finally, drop down from the platform located at the left of the ramp with the blue atom on top. You don’t actually have to use that final ramp, it's a trick.

Consider replaying it! You can start directly in the level 4 with the main menu. I hope this helps you! I'll be here if you have any dobut.

You can also skip the level from the main menu if you want. You have a stage selector.

I really hope thath you can enjoy the rest of the game!

Thanks.

Submitted(+1)

Thank you, I have figure it out now, before I just can not get around the red atom on the platform.

Developer (1 edit)

So you did it, right? Glad to hear that!! Consider modifying your rating if so :)

Awesome take on the theme. Also, it is very well executed with nice graphics, snappy controls, lots of content, great tutorial. I always know what the game wants from me – and this also felt great.  But what I loved the most was the absurdity of some stuff—like why the heck do I need to move Earth and Moon? Who cares? It is just cool. I played for 15 minutes straight and had lots of fun.

Developer

Thanks for the review! I'm glad you liked it!

And about the moon, the closer it gets, the higher the tides go, that's actually real haha

Submitted(+1)

Very smart take on the theme! Puzzles work well together with the mechanics, it has potential to become a full game, Great job.

Developer

Thanks!! I'm planning to add new levels once the jam is over!

Very cool idea with a lot of potential! The animations of scaling are well made although I wish they would take less time (especially the animation of going into space - sometimes you have to do it multiple times in a row, which can get tideous). Alternative idea would be to somehow apply the effect of changing the state of the sun and the moon in the same order you changed them (what I mean is if the player moved the moon closer and after that moved the sun far away he would come back to see the water rise and only after that get frozen). It probably wouldn't benefit the game artistically, but it would save the player from having to go in-and-out multiple times.
The mini-puzzle levels inside the buckets are also really fun. Great job!

Developer(+1)

Yeah doing the moon-sun effects in order is a pretty clever solution to the problem, I actually didn't think about that!

Thank you! I hope you enjoyed it!

This was soo good on so many levels. Fits the theme, is well polished and engaging, actually teaches you stuff.  IMO this should  be extended with more interactions, voice over and made into a complete education game for kids. Well done 5/5

Developer

Thank you so much!! I'll be glad to add more levels or mechanics once the jam is over :)

Submitted(+1)

Great work! The game is super polished with interesting puzzles! The celestial parts felt a bit tedious towards the end, but the super smooth animations made it worth all the clicks and dragging.

Developer(+1)

Thanks!!! :D

Submitted(+1)

Super cool game, thanks for making it!

Developer(+1)

Thank you for playing it!! :)

Submitted(+1)

Nice game! All the mechanics work so well together

Developer

Thank you so much! I'm happy to hear that!

I'll check out yours! :)

DONE!!!. Also try our game bud. Thanks

Really creative and super fun! i only had one problem with the game, for the underwater wiring, instead of a pulse it should be a switch - so doors up when tide is high, and doors down when tide is low - at the moment you have to do four or five changes to get past one door.

Developer

Yeah some friends told me that but it was was too late to change it, so I published it like that. Anyways thank you so much for playing it! I'm glad that you enjoyed it!!

Submitted(+1)

Great game!

Developer(+1)

Thanks!

(+1)

Great game!

My only gripe is that toggling the wire doors requires a lot switching between huge and normal size.

Oh, and I think I skipped part of the last level by walking against the last door while the yellow and green doors opened/closed.

Developer

Yeah, the solution was actually to get up on top of the doors! Im glad you liked it!

I just gotta say that this was fun and I admire that you've managed to gamify chemistry and these puzzles were very smartly designed. The only two things I got in terms of criticism are that I feel like there's poor depth perception when you're microscopic and it's very repetitive when you're trying to trigger the wires underwater and have to expand constantly just to have the event trigger. But besides that, you did an incredible job.

Developer

Thanks you! I'm sorry it looked repetitive, I didn't had much time to think in new puzzles... I'm glad you liked it!! :)

Submitted(+1)

amazing, love to see games like this (but also have no idea how one does this in 4 days). only complaint is the camera sometimes feels a bit too limiting, other than that, one of the best games i've played in the jam.

Developer

Thank you so much!! I'll check yours!

Me encanta. Visualmente muy bueno y simpático. Buenos puzzles que te hacen pensar. Muy buen juego, enhorabuena mrnoupgames

Developer
