Incredible work, very fun to play!

Developer

Appreciate the comment, thanks for rating!

I really like this idea of swapping between the human and the mouse to solve the puzzles and I’d love to see it developed further :) Only thing I’d say is it would be nice to have the option the change camera sensitivity as it’s just a bit too sensitive for me currently.

Developer(+1)

you can, press escape!

Submitted(+1)

Oh, my bad! It seems you can only make it higher though? Sorry if I’m misunderstanding, but it would be nice to have the option to lower the sensitivity as well.

Developer(+1)

This is probably because the game isn't fullscreen, which the web version just sucks in general so it makes sense. Sorry for the confusion, this is our first game jam and my first upload to itch.

I feel you, web builds are a pain 😫 I once made a game where enemies would sometimes just vanish sometimes in the web build 😂

Anyways, just want to be clear, I think you’ve done a great job :)

Developer

Thanks! Web builds truly suck if you're not ready, as I've learned the hard way :(

The idea has potential. The game is fairly simple though and the puzzles aren't that complicated if you know, what to look for. I liked the fact, that despite the art style being rather monochromatic (I don't mean this as a bad thing, quite the opposite, I enjoyed it very much) it was clear where to go and what to look for (thanks to glowsticks and red buttons). I know that you 'd be able to push those puzzles even further given more time :)

Nice job.

Oh, and some foreboding music in the background would be also great, but that's me nitpicking :D

Developer

Thanks a lot! Really appreciate the feedback.

Submitted(+1)

Sadly, I got stuck because it seemed like I couldn't interact with anything but the art style was very impressive.

Developer

if its the doors, only humans can interact with them. but thanks for playing regardless!

Rats are the superior rodent.

In all seriousness I like the game but it could get annoying having to run to one side of the room with the  mouse and then go again with the man

Developer

true, definitely is when you develop and debug stuff, so a workaround would be cooler

Cool riddles it was fun to play !

Submitted(+1)

Wow, really cool art style, nice work!

Developer

thanks a lot!

Good idea, good game, good style. Congrulations!

I like the idea of the asymetrical puzzle game! It was a fun experience.

Im not too knowledgeable with 3d platformers, so take this with a grain of salt, but I think the movement could do with some tweaking for platforming. It wasnt bad mind you, but first person 3d platformers tend to be pretty rough, so maybe making  stuff like air straffing tighther could improve the overall feel.

Either way, cool idea and lots of potential! Good job!

cool idea, nice aesthetics, fits the theme well.  would've felt less boring if there was music or more sound effects

the game felt slow in terms of performance, which caused a lot of delays in the controls and made me fall a bunch.

lot of potential, good job!

did you download or run it off web? the web one is a bit buggy due to the amount of post-processing there is.

Submitted(+1)

It was the web version.  Just tried out the download version and it definitely feels smoother, but the controls are always the crisper the better.  Highly suggest some more optimization for games like this which requires precision.

I also encountered this bug that seemed to be uniquely on the windows version, where once you bring up the second elevator with the mouse on, the mouse seems to phase into the elevator and get stuck, making you unable to jump

Developer

strange, ill check it out. Thanks for the advice!

This game looks amazing! I really liked the idea of changing from the human character to the mouse, very original!

I felt like the sound was a little too low, plus I would’ve loved to have some mysterious music in the background.

Submitted(+1)

Nice graphic style and concept :)

Submitted(+1)

Awesome atmosphere, I really enjoyed playing it!

Except a few moments where the control (specially of the mouse) were a bit unprecise, it was a very good experience. I am sure with a bit more time, you can bring this to top tier. Congrats!

I could only play the web version as I currently don't own a Windows PC, so take everything with a grain of salt. Even though I played the browser version, I quite enjoyed the aesthetics, especially the human model is quite nice. Puzzle design was pretty simplistic, but fun. The thing I struggled the most with was execution, but I'm generally not very good at first-person 3D platformers, so that might just be me. Gave up after falling down one too many times. I feel like this has potential to become a cool little platformer, maybe something along the lines of Banjo-Tooie with more focus on the character splitting aspects. Nice start!

Developer

thanks for the advice! the web version does kinda suck, and yes the mouse is annoying, i was briefly considering 3rd person movement for the mouse.

very cool! 11/10.

if it had potatoes it woud be a 12/10 😂

Cool game! The atmosphere was great, and I loved the aesthetic. The controls were a bit tricky at times, but the overall concept was really well executed. Nice work!

Submitted(+1)

This does a great job at pointing the player in the right direction on what to do next without being heavy handed about it. Big fan! 🐁

Submitted(+1)

I love this aesthetic! 5/5

Really liked the graphic style, also feels like a horror game, I was expecting a jump scare haha. Nice work.

The lighting is very very well done on the desktop version, it complements the level design very well. I know you couldn't do it for the jam, but I think this would work very well as a split-screen co-op game!
