Neat idea and I enjoyed the course design, but the driving physics made it frustrating to actually play and complete. Size being directly tied to speed is an interesting idea for having a trade off for going through small places or going fast, but I feel most of the time it just discourages ever driving with any speed.
Super neat idea, but like others here I found the car physics extremely frustrating, and didn't have the patience to complete the game. The map requiring lots of tight, awkward turns and containing unforgiving cliffs to fall off of didn't help. I think if the controls were made tighter this could be a lot more fun - there's definitely a lot of potential here!
Interesting idea and good looking game, but a little hard to control. Good job.
Great idea. Enjoyed playing but had trouble personally getting drawn into completing the game.
Great job! Control feels a little clunky. But idea is very creative.
I like the idea, and I think that a driving game with changing sizes has a ton of potential actually! I also think that a lot of the objects took advantage of the main mechanic. Unfortunately, the controls were a bit hard to use, and I didn't like not having any aircontrol, because that made me less likely to take jumps and find shortcuts
Great mechanic! Though I think I had the most fun when I fell off and could just hoon around getting big.
I love it (not surprising since i also made a driving game that plays with scale haha). Only feedback would be a level system, separate the whole game into multiple levels since it was annoying when i had to start all the way from beginning after failing
I found the car a little difficult to control (speaking as someone that has made a difficult to control car in a jam game before), But I really love the concept, going a bit slower so you can be small enough to take a shortcut is really cool!
I haven't played a game yet which after playing for a bit then had me go "ohhh". Great idea, and I love how the level design encouraged all sizes - I found myself opting for the small passages at some points, larger ones elsewhere! I may return to best my score as I know there's tonnes to improve on, and that was really fun. The physics is pretty wacky, but that's the charm!
I do wish I didn't have to start at the beginning and could respawn nearby if I fall off the course. As a new player it took quite a while to make progress, and with the nice leaderboard it could cost time rather than having to reset the run.
Thank you so much for the wonderful feedback!!! I’m really glad you enjoyed the game and found the hastily implemented physics to be enjoyable. The game is harder than i would have liked to be, but i ran out of time to properly balance everything. I go back and make edit the game after the jam I might add a practice mode like in geometry dash. I would have definitely appreciated it when I was trying a few skips.
Such a cool idea, and a great map to go with it!
Means a lot to me, thank you so much!
i love it!!! especially the physics system allowing for some wacky skips
Really really fun! Mechanically one of the most fun games I've played here so far. That leader board is a stellar idea also! Great job.
That means a lot, the leaderboard was the cause of many woes, but i’m glad i got it working in the end.
Awesome game, love the concept of having the sizing change depending on your movement. Really well done and this could be a full game if worked on more.
Thank you so much!!!
So cool!
