How does your game fit the theme?
You have to make a beanstalk grow while playing as a tiny bee.

It's a good game, I had some problems with the movement because if you slide on a surface you can't jump (which happens a lot on my playthrough) and the camera control can be a little difficult to manage, but I don't mind.. It really doesn't hurt much of the game experience!
I love the art direction – the 2D and 3D feel really cohesive – got to 108 flowers in the end! I appreciate that you included accessibility options, though I didn’t try them and am not sure how the gameplay changes based on them. A few things I had issues with were that the camera made me a bit motion sick, the shape of the beanstalk made hopping on it a bit difficult (maybe being able to climb on the beanstalk would help?), and sometimes I would walk right off the platform after respawning to the checkpoint because that’s the direction the character would be facing.
This is a really cool game!
Loved the mix of 2D & 3D, quirky characters, the world & textures; really cohesive style and easy to follow gameplay.
The only feedback I have is rather nitpicky:
-The smoothing on the camera sensitivity is not ideal (for me at least), it made everything look smoother, but it didn't feel super responsive.
-I really loved the game, but I don't think it fits the theme that strongly.
All said and done, I would without a doubt play a full version of this game, so much room for potential.
(Also S+ on the Banjo style voice dialog)
I really liked the idea here! The characters were cute and the way you made the big plant was pretty smart. Biggest issue I had was with the camera sensitivity, it started to make me dizzy. But I still got to the end with 105 flowers! Something I appreciated a lot was the character having a very clear shadow. It helped a lot in the lily pad sections.
I loved the "If you've got no arms, I'm sorry" lol, hilarious.
Great combination of 2D and 3D graphics. Remids me of paper mario games. Everything is polished. Great work
Great game, it's very beautiful, very easy to handle, and very pleasant to play.
I’m not sure why, or if it’s intentional, but it reminds me a lot of Mario 64 ^^
I think the length is perfect for a jam gam, long enough to enjoy but not too long, so there's still time to try other games. :)
I don’t remember how many flowers I managed to collect because the counter disappeared at the end, but I think I was around 109. Can you tell me how many there are in total?
I absolutely love the cute art style and chill atmosphere! Game is really well polished. You even included a nice hard shadow which makes 3D platforming so much easier. Well done!
Hard to believe this was made in 96 hours, fantastic job! The art style is immensely charming, and the level design is great. One specific element I want to highlight is that you did a stellar job with the flower placements to silently encourage the player where to go next and how to become more comfortable with the gliding mechanic. I really, really liked this game!
really cute platformer that I played til the end! :) I love the 2D character in a 3D world aesthetic.
Hi, I'm a big fan of low poly and platforming so I really enjoyed this one ; it reminds me of a lot of cool stuff (Paper Mario for the art style, Tinykin for the settings and 2D-3D mix, Grow Up also for setting). Sound design is chill and fun, lenght is just about right for a jam ; had a little trouble climbing the bean in the beginning but then got used to it.
This is going to my favourites, well done^^
Nice and fun little game, specially the voice since it reminds me of my favorite game of all time, Okami. In my first game for a game jam, in 2020, I used the same idea.
Maybe I could also provide some advice and say that while the game glide mechanic is really well done, the jump is a bit off. If you plan to continue developing this one, might be worth a rework on this part
Fun game. Wish the bean stalk was a more traditional shape so I wouldn't slip off
great game! love the aesthetics and the whole vibe. The jump quest part of the game (which is the whole game) was really enjoyable and controls didn't feel too bad either! great work!
The art is so cute, I just found the beanstalk kind of frustrating to climb which is unfortunate when it's such a big part of the game.
