Unfortunately I really can't play the game as I can't stand horror. Even with films is the same thing. But I forced myself to give it a try considering how popular it is. The looks are pretty amazing honestly, like the whole atmposphere you created. It reminds me of those old PS2 graphic style. Really really well done
Thanks for giving it a go! Glad you liked it!
Love the horror vibe in this game! It made me get goosebumps. The graphic looked super glitchy in my Mac chrome though. Hopefully it'll work well in Safari.
Yeah, im aware that the game is super glitchy on mac. Sorry for that. :(
Amazing art, The camera mechanic is awesome and fits the art style and time period, impressed with how you got this into a working web game and happy you did so great job.
Thanks for the nice words! I always have a web build in mind when Im making games for jams.
Really well done! Fantastic atmosphere and use of sound effects
Thank you! <3
Great game. I think I somehow clipped out of the attic at the end so I played it again to get the true experience. Really messes with you. I love that the game does not do much to scare the player and leaves it up to their imagination.
Damn, i knew that would happen to someone. The attic is a wonky place. Glad you enjoyed it regardless. :)
Love PSX style games as well as the overall vibe. Felt like the walking was a bit too slow though outside of the house. Not too sure how it fits to the theme though
Good looking horror game, art style really gave that old-school Resident Evil/Silent Hill vibe.
love it , horror games are my favorites and this was a great experience
Thanks for playing! <3
how do i run? the controls instructions went away now im just walking around. is the texture effect thing supposed to be all crazy like flashing like that? the game thumbnail for itch is dope
Awesome game! though i do feel like it meeting the theme is a bit of a stretch
I hate horror games and this for sure was one. I was constantly on edge, unfortuantly I gave up when I was unable to find a way to open the door on the roof
I almost did too until I figured out there was a list of photos you're supposed to take you can see with tab. after you take all the photos the attic opens up.
This was great. Anyone who can pull off a horror game gets extra points. It's very well made. Congrats.
It´s great to see a horror game in the jam! The puzzle of the statue was neat, specially the basement part. A slightly faster movement would've been great, though. The player felt too slow outside of the house as well as while backtracking the house. Nice game!
This is fantastic. I've wanted to do a horror game for a jam for a while, but always been scared because it seems so hard. You show that it can be done very well with a high degree of polish. Well done! (Also I was very scared)
Great vibes and nice puzzles! Did’t really get how the game relates to the theme though.
I love the retro vibes, very pleasant. Great spooky atmosphere! The polaroid mechanic was awesome!
Thanks for playing! <3
PSX Style my beloved. What a nice little horror game. I really like shaking the photo to show the picture I took too. And the horror element ties nicely to that.
Thanks for the nice words! Glad you enjoyed it! :)
Classic PS1 art style, very nice to look at.
Thanks for playing! :)
Absolutely loved the atmosphere and visuals, although I was stuck once I managed to open the bedroom ^^;
Aside from that, great experience
Sorry for the inconvinience, glad you enjoyed it regardless!
Spooky game! Very atmospheric, and loved the retro style. Well done!
Thanks for playing! <3
