It took me a while to understand what is happening at the end : )

Spoopy game, good job <3

Developer

Cult activity. A living house. Everyday stuff

Thanks for playing! :)

I took pictures of pretty much the whole house, the investigator will be having a large gallery of these photos!

If he gets back...

Thanks for playing and for taking a lot of photos! :D

Oh wow, nostalgia is the first word that comes to mind.

I liked the polaroid mechanics so much, I kept taking pictures. lol

Developer(+1)

Glad you found it nostalgic. Thanks for playing! <3

Submitted(+1)

reminds me of the mechanics used in the go home annie game

Developer

Not fimiliar with that game, but i'll check it out! Thanks for playing! :)

The esthetic is something ! Love the vibes of this little horror game ! Reminds me of old school resident evil :nostalgia:

Developer(+1)

Its nice to hear that it reminded you of RE. Love the old RE games. Thanks for playing. <3

Really like the setting, most people that go for this dont pull it off well, only suggestion would be the very start long walk

Developer

Thanks for the nice words! Will make the move speed faster outside when i can update the game. :)

Submitted(+1)

Really nice game. Just wished that the movement speed could be little faster.

Developer (1 edit) (+1)

Sorry for the slow move speed. I will make the movement faster outside when I can edit the itch build! Hope it was enjoyable regardless!

Really cool and atmospheric game. Really lives up to the name too. I do think the relation to the theme is vague at best but it's a very good game for the time spent on it.

EDIT: I think Polaroid is trademarked so I think you might want to edit that once the rating period has closed

Developer(+1)

Didn't think much for the game's name. :D I interpreted the theme a bit differently but regardless I hope you enjoyed it.

And YES! When I modelled and textured the camera I wanted to go over the polaroid text but I completely forgot. Thank you for point it out!

The game is really well-polished for just 4 days. Great job!

Developer

Thanks for playing! <3

This is an amazing entry! Well paced and tense throughout! The retro visuals are on point as well. I truly enjoyed this short game. 5/5 ^^

Developer

Thank you for playing! Love the visuals of your game, great entry!

Really impressive for 4 days!

Developer

Thanks for playing! <3

Really cool game, I really love horror games where it's the environment that's the scary part. There were a bit of clipping on some floor details, but otherwise good game!

Developer(+1)

Thanks for playing and thanks for the feedback about that visual glitch! :)

Submitted(+1)

Eery vibe, sfx that creeps under your skin and nostalgic artstyle! Great work!

Developer

Thanks for playing! Loved your entry, very fun! :)

Submitted(+1)

Really impressive and was very cool to play. Even got jump scared! I will say I'm not sure if it fully fits the theme?

Developer

Thanks for playing! I interpreted the theme differently; like a cult built to scale. Blokes who worship a heart, an entity inside a house.

I'm immediately a sucker for horror games where the house is the bad guy, so this immediately reeled me in. This is an insane amount of polish for such a short game jam! Great work, it also made me interested in checking your other projects so I'll be checking that out

Developer(+1)

Thank you so much for playing! I loved the concept of Tale of Fractalia. The setting reminded me a bit of Dark Souls 2 for some reason! :D

Submitted(+1)

That stairwell moment got me good. Well done on this.

Developer

Got me a few times aswell! Thanks for playing <3

Visuals are really good, and the human shadows are really creepy. Character speed is just slightly too slow for me, but otherwise great job!

It would be awesome if you could give feedback on my game too: https://itch.io/jam/gmtk-2024/rate/2903767

Developer

Left a review on your entry. Thanks for playing! :)

This was awesome! Really great graphics and solid gameplay for a game jam project!

Developer(+1)

Thanks for the video man. Atleast I have proof that the game is working on other devices :D

Working great at that! XD
