Gameplaywise is quite polish already. The control is simple and sweet. I am curious to see what the energy system does.
updated version coming tomorrow ~19:00 cest
It will contain a ton of features and mechanics I would have loved to include in the release version already, like build system and energy system.
Good idea and executed well. Good job
Nice game ! The concept is straight foward. A shame that to access and leave the upgrade menu we have to press escape, which escape same time the fullscreen mode. Another point: whatever the rotation of the player, the shot always aim at the cross-hair, which remove all interest to the speed of rotation
keyboard shortcut are changed in next release after voting phase. I might change the shooting via mouse to shot straight where the ship is currently pointing
Cool game! I liked the upgrades. There definitely needs to be more enemies.
i have already one more enemy that didn't make it into the release game.. There will be boss waves too very shortly..
Nice game. the power-up is a bit op and enemies should become stronger over time to make the game more challenging. its very fun to play though
a lot of potential to become a nice little game. good job and i am excited to see the updates
This was a lot of fun.. it eventually hung on me but that's a sign that I played it for a long long time :) Great game, great entry!
I think other commenters have already said everything that I was planning to comment,
I just want to add my appreciation for the title :)
Well done!
Really nice ! Sad to see the unfinished things that could have been fun !
Then give it another try in a couple of days. I will keep updating the game until at least build system, energy management and boss waves are included
I'm excited for future updates :D
look like it's not finished and yet I couldn't but play it for an hour just to see how much broken the ship can be. really cool idea overall
Fun for awhile, but the enemy scaling just couldn't keep up with the player and the game became really easy. It seems like the energy and build time system was meant to helped with this. Good concept though! (also the music stopped after playing just once).
build system will come with next update, after voting period is over
Sad to see the energy system wasn't finished. I hate not being able to get important things done on time. Keep it up though!
Had fun blasting space moths. The time-to-build mechanic wasn't working though. I could just spam buy stuff and would instantly get it. I spent like $300 on just lasers and immediately wrecked everything that came close lol.
Was fun though until I broke it lol. Love these kinda games.
building stuff will become a lot more expensive and time consuming with next update, after voting period is over
Love the ship art!
Solid game, good job for 48 hours! I think that you could've integrated the theme a little bit better, and like others have mentioned, the AI logo isn't allowed under GMTK rules.
removed the logo
it's all right, gj on finishing a game in 48 hours. it's just stimulating enough to keep the independent thoughts away, much like vampire survivors, but it's no steredenn.
Nice, also what engine is this? I don't think I've ever saw that kind of loading screen
It is Godot (https://godotengine.org/)
Energy consumption was not finished.. 48 hours were over too quickly
Fun game, I'm not sure what energy does though.
