How does your game fit the theme?
Pretty much everything you do is revolved around scaling. you upgrade your towers which scale in stats and most importantly size, you expand your buildable area and your main base size by upgrades too.

Fun and beautiful tower defense game. It's a little bit unbalanced—in the beginning, it's really hard to survive. :( Also, the green stations seem better than the orange ones; they deal more damage.
I'm really a fan of this genre, so if you release a full version, I would definitely play it!
Feels really polished and great to play! After a couple tries I became UNSTOPPABLE.
If you are going to balance it, it would be good to promote the use of the mechanics within the gameplay:
Maybe when you pick up a tower it can take the direction of the nearest one and the tower it points to creates a sprite of the enhanced tower above it with low opacity. A beam of electricity pointing towards the tower to be joined can also work!
Success with your game! I will be attentive if you update it
Had a blast playing the game! The artstyle, music & fast pace all blended together wonderfully!
Apart from the dragging of towers being a little tricky, it was a lovely experience - though I did also notice that towers that are lost because they are too near the 'base' when you upgrade it will not have their cost refunded. That said, it did add to the challenge! 😄
Fantastic work!
The pixelart is gorgeous, sound effects, music is all on point. I did however notice that the dragging of towers was often very bugged for me. I'd have to click and try to drag a tower multiple times before it would actually work and it was quite frustrating to work with, I do however think that after fixing this and adding some more interesting enemy and tower behaviors this could be a game I would pay for.
Really like the pixel art for this game. Overall a great tower defense game. Dragging towers didn't always work properly but that's probably a minor issue. Would be nice to see it built upon with more variety of towers and enemies. And probably a bigger map
Wowie, Art 10/10, Design 10/10, Sound 10/10, What a fantastic game! I loved being able to move the towers and kind of continue to expand out, it felt really dynamic. If the chunks went up and down as well, there could be some real potential for some interesting mechanics.
- I wish there wasn't an end to the game. Maybe just like, this is the final upgrade and have enemies scale infinitely
- More upgrades would be nice, could be as simple as added range or damage
- Knowing how much DNA enemies give would be a nice bit of polish, a little +1 on death or something.
Incredible cohesion in this game for a 96 hour dev time! smashing job
The art is so awesome! I also love seeing a tower defense game for the theme, really great game! Great work!
My first few starts were rocky (especially with not realizing the hold-drag at the get-go) but once I got the hang of it, watching my tower defense was very satisfying. The art and palette are so polished, I really like the logo too! Awesome work!
The art is awesome, I love it ! Good 8bit pixel !!!
In addition it is a tower defense
The game feel, the music everything is perfect ! Your game is awesome !
We want more different towers <3
Nice artstyle and cool Megaman like 8 bit soundtrack, but the tower defending was a little too basic maybe. This needs cool upgrades :)
Enjoyed playing this gem - looks and sounds good! Balancing could be better, but it is a jam, after all!
I really the artwork, it is really clean, I like the colors, and the animation is fun. The music and sound fits really well and I love that you move the unit around though it was not clear to me at first (maybe add a how to play on the itch io page). Once I understood that you can combine your units to make them bigger and stronger, there was nothing that could stop me! Really ! :D But please, please, make it more obvious maybe with a tutorial level that force you to level up your unit by combining them for dumb people like me :D
Great game! Superb music and sound cohesion with the art and overall style, well balanced dynamics and good composition all round. I felt like at first the balance was super unforgiving, finding my win/lose state dependent on which enemy types spawned before I hit the next 20 currency, but after that, it became incredibly easy, and I didn't really have to try very hard for the turrets to just completely goombaslap everything, and I ended up just kind of playing a waiting game for the money to add up, since I wasn't having to think. The sound, visuals and music were good enough to keep me playing till the end though, so great job there!
Fun game, the music sounds like it's taken straight from an 8-bit Mega Man game.
The Drag-and-drop could use some tweaking, in my browser it had a really hard time registering, and I almost completed my first full run not realizing I could even move towers because nothing happened when I clicked on them (turns out the game is a lot harder when you can only go up to level 2 towers, and your first ones get deleted)
Overall very enjoyable though, played through it fully a couple of times once I got the hang of it
