interesting idea! but the first few levels are too slow, I find it easy to be quickly bored. There should be something else, another action/interaction to add a little more action.

But overall it's a fun concept !

Hi! I passed the first few levels, before I gave up. It was too easy, because we can just ignore the background flying pieces and build with our main piece, one block at a time. It would be more interesting if we had to gather the flying blocks to build, but I like the aesthetics!

Developer

You are correct.  However, the challenge comes from scoring high, and completing the levels :)

What a nice idea. And quite polished too! The controls feel very satisfying since they automatically snap to the grid so you don't need to be too precise with your movement. Well done!

In the middle of the level, it did sometimes feel a bit boring if you don't have any good blocks around and are surrounded by wrong color or bombs. Makes me wish there was some sort of invincible/boost button that would allow me to quickly move to a different part of the map while ignoring other blocks for a short while.

By the way, it would make me happy if you gave feedback on our game too! https://lisyarus.itch.io/color-fractory

An incredible idea. I keep trying to play greedy and make the biggest piece possible. Then, in the level 5, I realize that It doesn't need to be all connected SO YOU CAN MAKE ALL THE CITY IN ONE MOVEMENT. Its just so well made. love it.

Wow wow wow!!! This was awesome! Loved the mechanic! Great job on the rng for spawning! A really fun challenge! I had a lot of fun!

Probably one of the best I played so far! Loved the concept and the art style. Maybe it needs a little bit of balancing because it gets really hard really fast.

Very cool game!

Very interesting game. Intro was too good.

Incredibly clean game! I'll definitely come back to this to clear the all the levels but man! An evolution of tetris perfectly encapsulates this game!
That's not to say I'm good at the game, though:
(But that's a me issue)

It's pretty fun at first, but it's kinda get enough after few levels. yeah

First of all wow. I was blown away at this artistic view on the classic Tetris. I loved the progression and how easy it was get the hang of it, all the while my skill was being consistently challenged. Even towards of the end of the game i was surprised at not only my own capability but how easy it was to say yes to another level. While i haven't completed all the levels just yet, it is definitely on my list of games to finish. Very well done BurbleGames.

Pretty fun! I like how getting a high score requires that you take risks by trying to get as big of a blueprint as possible

Very interesting execution of the idea! I think it's creative & the arts and music fit the vibe very well :) I'd like to point out something someone already said in the comments - "feels like an evolution of Tetris", that's exactly what I think of it too!

Ooh, very slick! Really enjoyed this game, nice work!

The game idea is simple and easy to grasp. However, the game itself can get really complicated and stressful. I like that you can choose yourself how much risk you take to make your piece as big as possible. The visuals are as simple as they are effective at conveying what the objective is. I really like the background, it helps with coordinating the pieces so you can perfectly line them up. I would appreciate it if the areas where you can place blocks were to be shaded in a darker tone of gray because I found myself trying to place a piece in an area surrounded by placeable blocks that actually wasn't one itself and was confused when i couldn't place it. The white lines may not be clear enough, but maybe that's just me. All in all, a really nice game!

I really enjoyed this game; it feels like an evolution of Tetris, very original and addictive. I always felt like I wanted to keep playing to see what the next level offered. The difficulty progression is great because it provides a range of levels, from basic to advanced. The music is very good, and the initial presentation of the game is excellent, introducing the game’s aesthetic very well. Congrats!

Fun game, reminds me of old-school city sim games, good job!

Fun game with a great visual style. I beg you change the controls to arrow keys instead of WASD - my left hand is getting cramp from doing all the work. Also couldn't really figure out if the bombs were good or bad
