Fun game! It may not look the best, but the puzzles are really interesting. I gave up on the last level :(.

Good job overall!

I love this game ! All the levels are really interesting and I love the idea of the little story.
Well done !

I love the idea, it was a great take on the theme and a cute story concept. I with they had the faces from the cover art were on them and if they showed emotion when they hit the ground or if you messed up.

Developer

I just splapped together a story cutscene to make the game not just seem like a bunch of circles and squares moving around. A reactice face would be cool though.

That's a solid one!

I like the idea here, the implementation of the theme is great and it really gets you thinking.

I like the simplistic looks aswell, they fit the game in my opinion. Well done :)

Might be the best I‘ve played so far, it's just so fun and mind blowing!

I love this game so much. You pulled it off perfectly in my opinion. Every level felt like a fresh concept because while the core concept was the same, the actual manipulation changed (scaling the blocks, scaling the players, scaling the freaking spikes, scaling the camera view while also morphing half the level!?). What an absolutely creative take this is!

The funniest part was that my only major complaint was going to be that when the shapes scaled, they kind of clipped into each other and slipped off. But then you basically exploited that ‘bug’ into a feature in level 15 XD. I really enjoyed the unique ideas in “Pit rider” and “Pythagorean theorem”. On that note, the puzzle titles were genuinely helpful in addition to being witty.

Coming to minor gripes; I think the simplistic graphics worked in your favor, but maybe a little more detail like faces on the circle would add more flair to the game. Some SFX would also be nice when you scale. Basically, just a little more polish would be neat. I have no other feedback! It really felt like you knew what worked, and you used it to its fullest extent. Awesome job!

Thank you so much! I was thinking of a scaling sound effect, but I just didn't feel like making it 😅. There is actually a sprite I made for the player with a face, but I found it a bit unnerving and creepy.

I think your idea was very creative and suitable for the theme and it was executed beautifully. I got stuck in level 7 and the second cube was very physically reactive, but overall I enjoyed it. Great job.

The level designs were very clever, definitely made you approach the game from different angles which kept me engaged throughout :)

Super clever and charming.

Puzzle design in great and love how the abilities change and evolve as you progress.

This drove me crazy! In a very addictive way

Really cool game, loved the puzzle levels, the last two were brutal tho!

Glad you enjoyed it. 🔼

Very clever game! Each stage successfully delivered a satisfying aha moment up until the last 2 stages which I felt were a bit tedious and more platformer than puzzle. Other than that, this was one of the smartest and most enjoyable games I've played this jam. Loved the Bill Cypher easter egg too :P

Developer

Thank you! Glad someone found the eater egg. For the second to last level, I wanted some more stuff based on controlling the player size, but the level ended up being really different from every other level. And there are enough scaling-the-player games elsewhere that the level isn't necessary.

Graphics are simple, but the gameplay more than made up for it. All the levels were short but interesting in concept and didn't feel gimicky to me at all. Felt super intuitive with many levels, like the one level where you had the growing top piece push the bottom piece through the floor to reach a button! Even the name for that level was so fitting, and was actually a clue to me on how to solve the level lol

Fun little puzzler! Didn't overstay its welcome, and all of the levels felt like they had a reason to exist. I liked the level names, too. Sometimes the physics felt a little finicky, though.

Developer

Thank you! I was originally going to make it so objects can’t scale if there was no space to do so, but I was too lazy to figure it out :P

Very fun and creative, I liked that every stage had something new
