Fun game. I like the graphics and music. Dragons scales are a creative use of the theme.

Also, I had an issue where the days would go to negative and the audio would blare. It might have to do with taking scales from yourself since when I switched to hunting or buying from adventurers I never had the issue again.

Thanks! I will look into that!

A very fun entry, and a pretty creative one too! The game was pretty simple to understand, although I wish it was possible to haggle or simply see the proposed scale price at different traders.

Me too! I actually lost about a day trying to implement haggling, but I had to remove it for 2 reasons:

    1. I am terrible at haggling in real life, so trying to come up with an algorithm for it was difficult.
    2. I am terrible at haggling in real life, so trying to tell if my algorithm was working was difficult.

Awesome entry! A really interesting take on the theme! Nice job!

Very original interpretation of the theme!

I liked the gameplay, but some moments were not clear from the first time. So I lost by killing Rose, because the dragon lost hp (it is not very obvious that the dragon is damaged for killing an apothecary). Also, I did not understand why kill someone if you can just turn back into a human and reset the timer (the amount of gold received is not worth it). In addition, it is not very clear why you need Smith and Rose if a Private collector gives the highest price.

The style is great, but I would suggest bringing the sprites to the same pixel size, adding highlighting to the text when hovering over it, and changing the font as other commenters below suggested.

Overall, this is a very original and interesting game!

I love the idea, great take on the theme! If I was going to give some feedback, choose a pixel font to go with the art style better. I like the sprites but the default font throws me a little. you can get lots of fonts for free at Google Fonts or on Itch.

Fun little game! Good work! I also killed both smith and rose and regretted it pretty soon afterwards... haha

Surprisingly fun, I managed to infinitely kill adventurers and not be able to make money.

Victory! I love the art and the concept, the loop was a little simple once I figured out the method and I'm not entirely sure what the point of the combat/killing vendors was during my time playing but it's still a really fun nice looking game.

This was a neat idea for a game! I don't know if I just had a bad strategy, but I didn't even come close to winning

    Thank you!

You can get through it eventually by buying scales from adventurers and selling to the merchants. Once you make the goal of 25k gold, you win!

If you run out of time, you are forced to turn into a dragon, but you can change back and the time is refreshed.

probably should have made that clearer...

Interesting but it's hard to understand what are the risks/rewards.

It brings me back to old RPG ♥

Thank you for playing my game!

It is kind of commentary. If you stick with the safe strategy of buying from adventurers and selling to merchants, and just turn back into a human when forced to be a dragon, you can win every time.... but that is boring! killing stuff is fun! ...but it is riskier.
