I really liked the polish, style. and design you managed to incorporate in the game! The mechanic was somewhat confusing at first but once I got the hang of it it was really fun. Great job!

What a fun take on the theme! A bit finicky and glitchy (unavoidable given the tools the player is given), but i managed to reach the end! That was a really fun experience! Also really liked the ending

This is one of the best game that I have ever played so far ! The game is cute and the different levels only uses the same mechanics in different unique ways ! Plus the Mario Paint sound assets makes it 10 times better

Quite honestly, no complaints here. Had an absolute blast!

First off, MAJOR props to the aesthetic in this game. The music and the style of everything really fit into a kid-pix style atmosphere. The design was completely adhered to without any design sacrifices; I appreciate the texture that denotes interact-able terrain. (I don't know how you made the background feel like one of those screen-tone things that comic book artists use, but it's so perfect.)

Also, I may be biased (haha), but treating "scale" as not always linear, and depending on axis/rotation is DEFINITELY the play here, and I appreciate someone doing that completely right.  This is really impressive especially in real-time, when the player is moving simultaneously.

I did get stuck on "Ride the L train". Trying to flick the L fast enough for the cat to get on it did hurt a bit while holding the mouse, and I do wish it was just a *smidge* lower. Additionally, even though intuitively I know what side to scale, and it clearly doesn't work the same in most drawing programs, I found myself using the wrong axis when scaling/widening. (That might be a skill issue on my part though.)

It would also be nice to get an undo/deselect button, but that's probably something that would be difficult to implement while maintaining tricks like moving the selected platform while the player is on it. (Especially in the short timeframe of a jam!) Oftentimes I select the wrong thing like a small portion rather than the whole platform, and that causes me to have to restart the whole level.

Oftentimes with open-ended games like this there is a question on how to restrain the player while offering freedom to design a creative solution. With such freedom such as this to draw your own design I think y'all nailed it perfectly on the head. I honestly think that this would probably work as a full fledged game once the jam is over.

tl;dr, this game is really cute and inventive, love the little creature, amazing job

I might try with a mouse again at home but I could not get past the 2nd level lol. It seems like you only get 2 tries to use your powers there and it's pretty difficult to cut in a way where you put one above the other with a gap to jump up, make sure their shape is possible to land on, and have the top reach enough height. I am not an artist in any way so that might be part of my issue. I enjoyed the telephone noises mixing in with the music by PaperKitty and the sound design by MoonDog was really standout from the little bit I got. Probably a very good game that I am not good at enough to enjoy properly, sadly.

Such a creative idea and super well executed! I'm in love with the art direction in general and the design of the main character. This game seems almost fit for a full release on steam etc. I hope you continue with the project after the jam!

Great project, a full game practically ready for release. Some ideas I would have loved more build-up / traching, but overall fantastic.  I liked getting lots of pickups on the early level

Omg it looks so good <3

Loved it. I have always loved the mechanic of "you control character on a keyboard, but you can do something unrelated with the mouse and those things have effect on each other". I can't name many games with it, but there are a few and this was just added to the list. I see a potential of this becoming a full game. Also loved the Nintendo DS aesthetics.

Incredibly fun, creative game, absolutely adore the mario paint style soundtrack, only issue is the collision is pretty janky when moving and pretty frequently causes tools or even the player to clip through walls. Otherwise, incredibly polished, super enjoyable game!

Very creative game and very dynamic gameplay. Player does get stuck in some pieces often ruining the a play through. Very enjoyable overall!
