Hi. I made a video with the best games in the GMTK 2024 and your puzzle game is included. Here's the link if you want to watch it:
Yay! Thank you for the kind words :)
Great game, but couldn't make the % jump and weight to finish last level
Glad to hear you enjoyed the game! [Spoilers ahead] In order to finish the last level, you need to shrink down to minimum weight, jump on the button to the left under the level exit, then aim at the off-screen mirrors on the right to enlarge yourself while on the button.
That was very clever! The art is a little rough, but readable and charming. The mechanics are intuitive, competent, and fun to use.
The level design is proficient! I was already impressed with how well the A levels built on the mechanics, but the B levels were especially innovative; B-4 in particular was a real "Wow!" sort of puzzle.
Fantastic! Great work!
the mechanics are very intuitive and there's almost zero friction - I always love to see that
I think the only slight feedback I have is that difficulty is perhaps not very challenging. I'm not sure how bad this is in the context of a jam, but I would have liked some puzzles where difficulty scaled up a bit. But I may be nit picking here. Perhaps some other types of scalable objects or interactions could push the last bit of potential you have
simple, readable, intuitive, fun - good stuff!
This is amazing! It needs more levels! The play hitbox is a bit bigger than it should be and it's hard to get cubes on buttons, but for some reason I love this game. My first 14/15 (you lost one style point).
Such a fun game! It had me playing for a while. Very intuitive, simple yet addictive. Great work- solid game experience!
Nice puzzle game, I managed to finish the game without hints. I think you had a really good concept but could have had levels that took even more advantage of it.
That was good, each puzzle kept me thinking. Good controls and feel for such a short time. Seems tight, and with some tweaks to some of the interactions this could scale into a lot more.
Well done implementation of the mechanic. I agree with some of the comments about wishing I could tractor beam the blocks, but its workable regardless. Really like the feel of the controls, the character, and the environments. Nice work!
I had so much fun with this game! Great work everyone involved! The only improvement that comes to mind is that it would be nice to be able to more easily remove blocks pushed all the way onto walls, as sometimes I did that by mistake and then I had to expand and shrink them multiple times in order to fit in the gap and push them away from the wall
