A simple but effective Tetris-like game. The falling block feeling is well done; I think it would have benefited from being a bit faster, but other than that, it's great ^^

If you want to check out our game, feel free to do so :3 https://butterflan.itch.io/spicy-king

Fun way to play Tetris ! I wished the speed of the game increase with time or number of pieces you place, but anyways, I enjoy it. The game feels polish and well made, good job !

Super fun, love the accessibility too.

The next up piece UI is quite hard to read, but other than that the game is great. art is good and the physics is fun to play with.

I want a little more challenge than just build big, but for a jam game its great!

Well done ❤️

As a tetris game connoisseur, I can confirm this is super duper fun. :] I like that you have to be really precise with your placements, and think about how it would affect the tower. I also appreciate the inclusion of zoomed out version of the board showing the player a clear view of the entire tower. All in all it's a great experience, and the music is funky too!

For such a simple idea, this easily takes the cake for how much fun can be crammed into "tetris but with a physics engine". I would absolutely spend hours on this just trying to get a high score!

This was a funky twist on tower building! I really enjoyed playing around with the physics and trying to push my tower to its limits!

Fun game, the physics is a bit weird to understand at first, but the music and the score incentive made me continue to play for a bit.

It's a good idea to make it so you loose when all your block in the scaled screen are out.

Good jam!

Fun game, music was boppin and the stacking is pretty fun. It was pretty easy to keep on stacking as high as possible though.

Just wanna say, I have come back to this game more than any other in the jam so far, it's genuinely so fun, the physics feel incredibly satisfying, and all around it's just a really good spin on tetris. incredibly good game!!!

This is very creative! It's such a cool idea to have a tetris game where you're trying to get as high as possible instead of keeping it as low as possible. And the fact that movement and rotation is smooth and not rigid makes it far more entertaining. I just wish there was a lose condition to make pieces falling a little more intense. But other than that, Great Job!
