Such cool vibes! I couldn't get my planet livable for the life of me but really enjoyed trying. Really unique idea too!
Really neat and beautiful! For the purposes of the gamejam, a walkthrough, or a guide with tips would probably be preferrable :)
The game looks beautiful, the mechanics seem copmplex and I would love to experiment everything.
Until now I only have volcanoes, I am missing clues what Step one and two are doing, and what kind of time scale I should skip at first...
But definitely a great game, the kind i really love. i will just need a lot of time to figure stuff out on it
Good job, and amazing what you achieved in only 4 days !
The amount of things this game has is crazy considering it was made in 4 days, the presentation is incredible, my only complain is that I had no idea of what to do during the game, maybe I little tutorial to at least know my objective and how some mechanics work would be needed, but even if I didn't understand I see the vision and I really enjoyed it, Good Job.
yeah it is pretty cryptic, we originally wanted a guide book of sorts, the little signs that say like “step 1” “step 2” etc do sort of help but you need to make a few associations and inferences etc to figure out what steps you need to take in order to win, which is a lot to ask of players when the game just dumps them into a ship with a bunch of buttons
Amazing game
Took me a bit to understand what I was doing but once I did it was an amazing game, hella unique and the art is fantastic, nice work!
This is seriously an amazing game! The gameplay, art & sound design are all top notch. I got my human population to around 50%, but then I slept for 100000 years and they all died D
thanks! rip the humans :(( :P
Such a good game
thanks!
What an insanely intricate game! At first I was a little lost, but once I started seeing changes on the planet I was hooked. The music and art style are big wins as well, phenomenal job!
ayyy! did you manage to win?
with a little bit of luck and a whole lot of nitrogen I eventually got it!
hell yeh!
Interesting game!
I really liked the style and music of the game. Also the story and the theme is a big plus.
I played around with all the switches to test what each one does! I think that a tutorial or a goal would be nice since I have no clue what a planet needs to be inhabitable! (Maybe there could be a post it note with the elements required!) Therefore I didn't know what I should to finish the game! xD
Also, I really liked the fact that you can get into cryosleep to progress time, that was an interesting mechanic!
To conclude, great concept and execution!
Thanks! We are considering adding a guide of sorts in a potential update down the line. (we did have some plans for one but didn’t have the time unfortunately)
The atmosphere and art direction on this is phenomenal - as well as the concept. I feel like some of the mechanics are a bit too cryptic though, but I think that's just an issue of me not being your target audience. Really good job!
Yeh, we wanted it to be cryptic to a cirtain extent (tho probably over did it) . def having some sort of guide would help out. Maybe in an update down the line!
The presentation is pretty great! Enjoyed the music a lot as well. Gameplay is really interesting as well and I enjoyed playing around with it. I feel this goes pretty deep haha
Yeh! I’m really happy with the art. Thanks to our programmer it definitely does go deep :p
The music is amazing, our musician friend did a great job!
The simulation in this is crazy. I don't fully understand what I'm doing (or what the blue beam at the start is), but this is extremely cool to play around with.
crazy simulation going on here, though I would 100% fail if this were me
yeah its so over the top, i spent like the first day just making the base simulation for states of matter changing lol, elements will move from the land to the ocean to the atmosphere as it heats up etc
there was one moment where i managed to get the proportions just right to have a stable liquid co2 ocean being simulated, at which point i decided the simulation was working well enough :P
