Very fun, and awesome to implement the multiplayer the way you did!
While I still can't believe you made me play a clicker game... I must admit that I got at least a little bit hooked (pun intended).
While the clicker part is of course nothing especially groundbreaking it does work, it looks nice, is responsive and easy to understand. The whole twist of there being 2 sides of the scale that we can add our fish to is a fun way to interpret the theme and to add a feeling of a goal to a genre mostly associated with... well idling with no goal.
I had a small issue where I couldn't connect with web version but download version worked smoothly. Also there are some typos/writing errors in some upgrades' descriptions but that is a minor thing.
This might sound like little bit too much in context of a simple jam game, but I miss the days of full releases that had the core mechanic of your game in them. The tribal-asymetric, whatever you want to call it, rivalry.
Great job on the game! It has a very clean UI and art style. One thing that was hard to understand was when I unlocked new options in the menu because I would have to scroll down. The multiplayer feature is really cool (and impressive!), but I wish the game leveraged it a bit more.
I got the fishing pole to level 7600 and it seems at some point it didn't actually reduce my money when buying lol. It's a really fun game and kept me playing for a while (level 7600 lmao), the art is great and the descriptions for the fish upgrades are funny too. Good job!
i get very adictive to these type of games, anyways i didnt expect to see an online game, but here it is, nice leaderboards, and overall nice game!
Omg, I always spend too much time on these games! I loved them hahaha! The art music and feel of the game was super nice! Im letting the game cook a bit to get that basement fish haha! Great job on the jam!
Impressive if online part really work, well done. Wish fir more feedback on my actions (a pentagram glowing, etc)
Thank you. The online part does work, but ironically the game doesn't display the information well sometimes.
This was very enjoyable and really well polished well done.
I love clickers, i dont know how i stayed like 30 minutes clicking. I found a couple of bugs tho. You can click some upgrades without spending any money, specially the watery worm that sometimes they scale the number way to high for one level. I was in the trillions and suddenly i was in aas. If i clicked again, it came back to trillions. You can click infinetly and sometimes the spikes to higher numbers.
But good idea, loved the UI, the 5 stars are yours.
(I wanted to post a picture, but itchio is sending me an error)
God I love clicker games. I spent a lot of time on this one. Excellent design and visuals, and really liked the twist with the fish pool! One thing to note, the fishes per click get way too behind in magnitude to the fishes per second you can buy. It's just a matter of balancing things out, though. Excellent game!
Nice work rocking multiplayer in the game jam!
