With great size comes great responsibility toni!

Very creative, interesting puzzles, but the fact that Tony slides over all objects like clockwork spoiled the whole experience for me(

Love the art and the idea of the mechanics, the physics sometimes act weird but that doesn't stop you from having fun!

Submitted(+3)

The movement was a tiny bit floatier than I would've liked, but the puzzles were fun and the "oooh" moment I got when I realized you could shrink/grow yourself was very satisfying. The presentation really complimented the gameplay & gave the whole game a cute weirdo vibe I really enjoyed!

Oh this was really fun! Love the assets, love the voiceover, love the ending. I got stuck on the level with the water tower onwards, and the jumping and moving physics were sometimes confusing, but apart from that it was a fun time!

I really love this game! Toni Reminds me so much of a cat, the little mischievious eyes!

Cool game! Very fun concept. I really like how dynamic the wizards eyes are. How it follows the mouse and also how one eye blinks slightly after the other ;) I think it could look really cool if the rest of the body had the same level of movement. Maybe his hat could follow slightlu behind him when he's falling or he could crouch down before jumping. Well done!

Developer

Thank you! :D
I agree with you completely - would have loved to get a few more character animations in there!

The shlorping hand is really well made, really gives the game a lot of points in the feel department. Effort spent there definitely wasn't wasted. Our games' concepts are a lot alike, and I find it a bit funny that we both decided on color-coding grow/shrink with red and blue, but swapped the colors. Wonder what drives those connotations.

Submitted(+2)

cool game about making things big and small by shooting things!

Developer

It's called shlorping things and we won't have it be called anything else! :p

What a cute art style and pretty creative idea! Opening cut scene is great. I wish the controls were a little less unpredictable. Splosh is both a pretty cool mechanic and a pretty cool name. This has a lot of potential to become a good puzzle platformer in my opinion.

Developer(+1)

Thank you very much! Lovely to hear that you enjoyed it! The control issues are very easily fixed, we just ran out of time with our busy lives getting in the way :) Much love <3

I love the cutscene and in general all of the art, it looks amazing!! The music was a great fit to the game to.

The only things to point out is that its pretty easy to get stuck on a level and there is no "reload the level" button so I soft locked myself.

(And why are the scaleable objects so slipperly??)

Developer(+2)

Hi, thank you!

You can press R to reset the level, we didn't have time to add that into the UI!

Submitted(+2)

Ooooooh found it!, Thank you so much!! ^^

Developer(+2)

As a team we're quite new to using 2D physics in Unity, and one of the ways we got character movement done was lowering the friction on them. Hopefully as we get a bit more experience we can have a 2D character controller that feels a bit better than this one!

Submitted

:O   Knowing that it was quite nice, thinking your new to 2D physics . And cant wait for your next game!!  ^^

Submitted(+2)

A lovely game. Some stages of controlling objects were a bit difficult, but overall I enjoyed it.

Developer(+1)

Thank your Pouria, I totally think we should've had less levels so we can focus on level testing a bit more!

Submitted(+2)

Love the art style, and the concept is well executed, good job!

Developer(+1)

Thanks Austin!

My Shlorp is full!

fun game :D really enjoyed it!

Developer(+2)

Thanks Taku!

This is really creative and really polished as well. I wasn't expecting a cut scene or a credits sequence. The puzzles are fun buy I feel as if the hit boxes made some puzzles way harder than they should be,

Developer(+1)

Thanks! Our artist Katy did an amazing job with her art!

We totally needed to spend more time on levels.

Submitted(+2)

The hitboxes can be janky sometimes, but I still liked playing the game and loved how creative it was.

Developer

Thank you, I'm glad you had fun with it :) The collider changes are simple enough to fix, we just ran a little low on time :0

Submitted(+3)

The cutscene was great and you made a lot of appealing assets! The character is so cute!
I kinda wish there were fewer levels and you used the remaining time to polish the game instead. Some levels were pretty hard and I only solved them by chance.

Developer (1 edit)

Really glad that you enjoyed the art style of the game! The levels needed a bit more attention, I agree. We just ran short on time in the end with our other commitments. Hopefully you had fun though and thank you for playing!

Submitted(+3)

I liked the intro and how the level themes kept growing. I definitely needed that skip puzzle button. I never had the right amount of shlorp!

Developer

Shlorp is a valuable resource! Really happy that you enjoyed the intro (Although I can't stand the sound of my own voice haha)

Submitted(+3)

Really awesome concept, I love stealing the size of objects to make other objects grow, and it's especially cool when you're able to reflect you're beams off of surfaces. The visuals are great too. My only problem is that the jump can be really janky and makes certain levels annoying. but overall, Great Job!

Developer (1 edit)

Really happy to hear that you enjoyed our little game! The physics needs a bit of a look over but it's all easy fixes really, just needs a little bit more time :> Thank you for playing!

Such a cute little fella :D Amazing art style and a really fun take on the theme. We really enjoyed playing it!

Developer
