How does your game fit the theme?
The Giraffe is based on the Scale gizmo, you control by scaling it's limbs and the aim of the game is to build up the scale of Gizmo until you win.

I've found the game because I was curious if anyone other than us has made a game about giraffes. But what a giraffe Gizmo is xD I tried in for few minutes but couldn't really learn how to efficiently control it. It's a shame, because I would love to scale up and see the word from higher level.
Made me smile, controls are little bit weird, but I guess that's the point of this game.
This game is hilarious in its concept and gameplay haha
The controls are kind of tedious and I never really got used to them but props for the originality!
Such a cool and unique idea! I loved learning to play because of how frustrating and funny it is. I ran into a couple of bugs, pulsing made me grow in size so much that it crashed the game and the legs would phase through the floor sometimes. Aside from that really fun and unique!
Omg the start of the game genuinely made me laugh hahahaha I think it's a clever game idea! My only feedback is that I found it a bit hard to control Gizmo. Still impressive that everything was built in 48h, great job!
So frustrating... and so fun ! Great work! :)
Kind of wish the leg extended to the other side of the body :D
Thanks for playing, loved your game, I am sure Nick and Gizmo would get on well... if they could fit in the same room!
Felt like I was playing giraffe Qwop. I think a solid control scheme would be Q/E, ctlr/space, and right click/left click. Giving the player easy access to all three scale directions on keyboard and mouse would help a lot! Cool concept, good job!
Great idea! I ended up cutting a few corners on the controls as I had already sunk a lot of time into them so at the moment you can only assign controls to keys which have a letter/number attached. But definitely will experiment with this control layout and make it an option for a post jam polished version. I think your onto something here ;)
So um a bug if you pulse when you are too big the game crashed for me.
Congrats on finding a bug! And also getting big enough to make it happen!
I will try and track it down for a post jam polish version ;)
Fun little game, and the opening is really fun. A lot of the time I get stuck on my back and even shaking doesn't put me on one of my leg.
Good work !
Thanks for playing, yeah I was worried that the jiggling wasn't enough to free you from all situations, always a danger with physics based games! :)
Yeah tough to balance ! Maybe instead of the jiggle make the axis inverted ? so that we could really move in all 6 directions and even have some fast strat with a lot of skill :)
That opening birth sequence is brilliant and I love how the game meets the theme in so many ways. Using colour related keypad controls made it easier for me to get into the flow too so you done great with letting the player customise those, very nice :D
Thanks for the feedback, glad you liked it. Probably spent a bit too much time on the controls and even then feel like they are a bit too difficult but glad it helped with keeping track of what on earth is going on!
