Very interesting game, very creative. A had a few issues with the controls, but other than that it felt very nice to play. i feel like you could turn this into something very fun with some more polishing.

As a few others have said, I really struggled with the controls -a cursor or some other way to make selecting things a bit more precise would have been welcome. Also the fact you can't pick things up while in the water isn't really explained.

But I really like the art style and the look & feel of the game

It is a really original game, like other comments say, I had issues with the controls, but it is a nice game ^^

This was great! The controls felt a little bit frustrating, sometimes space wouldn't do what I wanted it to. But once I got used to it, I had fun with it. The graphics look great and the idea is solid.

Developer

Oh, you made my day for finishing it <3 Thank you so much for playing it!

Great graphics. I really love the shark :) Too bad about the control issues

Developer

Thank you for playing! Your game is super fun too! We had similar controls, but yours are much better hahaha

I was sadly unable to play the game, as pressing space to pick up things did not work. Am I doing something wrong? One advice from me would be to make controls more readily available, as it took quite some time to understand and button mashing what the controls were supposed to be :)

Developer

Thanks for the feedback and trying to play. My mistake was make a logic based on grid and not some kind of raycast or something that matches an action game more.

I instantly took a liking to this one as it reminded me of Raft. I like the concept too, but I would have liked if the game explained a bit of the mechanics. Like I didn't know I could punch the shark

Developer

Thank you for playing! And yes, I totally agree!

Every movement is beyond my expectaion. what a surprising journey!

as others said, the controls are a bit tricky and sometimes you can’t pick up stuff, but it’s all easily fixable post jam to make it an overall very good game with a nice style and mechanics !

With a more hand-holding guide, I can see this being a breeze to pick up and play!
Love the idea - hate the shark (lovingly) >:(

Wow, i loved the art, nice job!

I think I needed a bit more of a tutorial as to what was going on. The style was great and the concept cool though. Good work!

I love the art, it looks so great. I keep dying of hunger because the damn bird keep eating the fish, and control is a bit hard, so have to built so far to get the plank. And also if you hit F the tower magically get taller.

Very well polished game. I feel the gameplay loop could be more refined. But the style is incredible. Well Done!

Submitted(+1)

Love the art style and concept! The controls frustrated me though. I couldn't quite get positioned right to grab something without falling in the water. Probably would feel great on controller.

Developer

Thanks for playing it!! Yeah, I wish I knew more about control polishing! Gonna work on that in the upcoming days!

Amazing visual. The controls are a bit weird. The pick-up button sometimes works and sometimes doesn’t, but still, very good job!

Submitted(+1)

Hey, I played your game. I didn't really know what I was doing, even though I read the controls in the menu. I don't think there's enough visual feedback for what's going on. For that reason, I won't rate it, because I honestly can't rate anything I wasn't able to really play. I just wanted you to know that I tried my best to play it :)

Thank you so much for the honest feedback :) I definitely need to improve in the “onboarding” part of the game. Thank you!!

Controls are a bit difficult but I really liked the game overall. Great art and game idea. Would love to dive deeper into the game when I have more time

Developer

Thank you for playing :) Totally agreed on the controls needing more love! Thanks for the kind words!
