This is such an elegant game-design! I like how this mechanics balances risk and reward, in a visible and easy to understand way. The game is not very challenging (it's easy to take back the health you lose, or shoot a large scale and take it back immediately), but still fun all the way. And the visuals are also both charming and easy to read. Congratulation for making this impeccable entry!

Such elegant design! Both you and the enemies share the same ruleset, making the game very easy to digest. Love how the reduced size helps in making you a smaller target, but your enemies also benefit from getting shot as a result. I also really appreciate the economical approach to the visual design, while still conveying a charming theme. Great work!

I like to see games that interpret the theme in alternate ways. This one is no different! The mechanic of using essentially your health points to attack is very cool. It sort of balances out the game. Amazing artwork, cozy vibes. Well done!

Such a fun game, amazing artwork, a unique take on the theme, great audio. I really liked the twist. Having to pick up your own ammo was such an interesting concept. I ended up just running at enemies and spamming from close range, but that brought its own challenges too, so great game design.

The art here is superb. Just top notch. The game itself was easy to follow and understand, but my little guy didn't make it too far. I still had a ball. Great presentation, wonderful. Thanks!

right out of the gate I really like how easy it was to understand this game, grasp its core mechanics, and then effectively use them. You did a great job in terms of readability. It was always very easy to understand what was going on and how many scales I would need to defeat a given enemy and what they would do if they hit me.
Perhaps my only feedback is that it can be cheesed a little towards the end by just staying relatively close and blasting with the biggest scale size. You automatically pick up the scales when you do this because of how big they are.

I think the core gameplay mechanic is really well executed and this idea of essentially using hit points as a ammo was super cool.

Great work!

Played it to the end! Really fun game and great balance of risk vs reward, it's really fun to clear a whole screen of smaller enemies with a big projectile. You've done an amazing job on visuals for not only the game but the itch page as well!

That aesthetic is so cute, I love it I wish there was more of it! Didn't expect a bullet hell type game on here, super well done.

I am the scale king! :D

Really charming little game. I like the risk-and-reward of using big attacks here. On a trackpad it was hard to be precise with it, so I was often either using the biggest or smallest shots, but I managed to make it work. I'd like to see a few more things that take advantage of the size changes, maybe—like sometimes you might want to be small in order to fit between certain obstacles or attacks.

Even though the animation is so simple it's a really pleasant-looking game. Good colors, nice textures, cute animals. I really dig it.

This game is amazing, and this is my favourite one I played until now. Art and music are highly consistent and feel very comfortable for me. I also like how this game is designed. Well done!

The risk/reward in this is really interesting! I love how you can basically choose how much health to wager so you can kill enemies faster. Really cool mechanic, really well done.
