How does your game fit the theme?
We interpreted "scale" as climbing and made the game about climbing a procedurally generated mountain, thus climbing something that was "built to be scaled".

I liked it! It was a bit hard to get a hold of some rocks while you were swinging left or right in the air. It was much easier when something was directly above you. I'm not the most patient when it comes to falling down and losing progress and having to restart. Is there an end or is it just infinite climbing? I may try to finish it if I know it doesn't take that long to get to the end
A simple concept executed well - the controls were satisfying and responsive, and thankfully the game was very forgiving with its checkpoints!
Grats on getting it done in 48 hours! I enjoyed it, although I think a bit more thought could have been put into rock placement. Good use of theme.
I beat it!!! Wish the controls were slightly more forgiving, nonetheless good job!! Played at https://twitch.tv/hedge_in <3 vod Day 4 @ around 5:55:00??
Sorry the controls put me off. I could of played it longer, but they seem to specific and require pinpoint accuracy.
Featured on today's livesream!!
It was simple but fun, i liked it :D
Actually pretty fun game! The climbing feels very nice, reminds me of getting over it and a difficult game about climbing. Although the art wasn't too good for my liking, I found the game very, very enjoyable. The level was so good it actually surprised me that it was procedurally generated.
Climb King rage game, perfect for a jam format :D You could definitely refine this into a fun little experience for those of us who like to smash our heads into unreasonable challenges
I think this looked great, and it was a cool idea for the theme as well! If this were to be something that you continued working on, I would want to see a couple of things though. First I think you probably already know this, but a little bit of a tutorial and step-by-step at the start would be great to teach the timing. In addition, I would actually like the timing to be more forgiving, especially at the start. I didn't have too much trouble, but it is really tight, and that will turn off a lot of folks who don't have those innate hand-eye coordination or timing skills.
Great job though, solid entry!
really liked this!!! i felt myself slowly getting better at holding down just long enough to get exactly where i want to get. i boulder irl so it was fun to play a game based on it!! if some holds slowly disappeared or crumbled when you grab them that might be interesting

Fun game! Getting the timing down was a little tricky and I'm not sure I ever exactly got it down. Maybe add some ui feedback like have the rocks glow when they can be grabbed?
Nice idea, a bit hard to get the timing of the grab.
Good luck!
