This is such an adorably sweet game! Very well done! It deserves it's spot among the best!

Pretty creative game! May try other factions later, but I wanted to rate the game in time! The instructions were slightly confusing, but as I started playing I got the hang of the game pretty quickly!

(1 edit)

Oh! We hadn't considered that! Will talk about it with the team, see if something like that would fit our game. We do plan to save the highscores, so that may also help in the future to the satisfaction sense

Haha! Someone else said the game gave them some Fnaf vibes, maybe that's what made it scary? Might be the lighting too. Also, on one of the first versions there was a furby in the background, I think that would've made this much more terrifying lol

Love that you used many of the scale interpretations of the theme! The game was pretty laggy for me, but visually it was great!

I didn't really get how the music puzzle worked, I just solved it by luck I think, but the maze puzzle was real nice! Still, took me a bit to know that I had to talk to the witch a secong time for her to give me an ability. I wish things we could interact with had been highlighted, but aside from that I think it was a neat game!

Nice game! I liked the mechanics and I loved the dialogue between levels (very funny that the man didn't answer the ghost, left him hanging with his measure joke lol). Didn't finish the whole game, but I may come back to it! It was interesting to put so many red herings in the form of enemies. Like, there's enemies in places that you're just not supposed to go.

I'll definitely come back to this one to try and beat it later! I think the controls are kinda fun, even if the jetpack is a lil hard to maneuver. The visuals are real neat. I like the way the tower gets constructed

Thank you so much for checking our game out <3

Absolutely wonderful little game! Despite the lag it was real enjoyable! I liked the way the candle moved and wiggled haha. The environment was real good. Didn't find the secret room. It was a short experience, but I feel like this is real good to expand upon! Like there could be a whole story and more levels in the future. Has real potential!

The design for this game is real good! It felt like a nice escape room!

A few observations: The main menu settings button doesn't work (it works from the pause menu).

I wish you could've held object to push em, the physics sometimes made it hard to move them. The sound of the roomba was not very pleasant and there were no sound options. Since there was no music I muted the game and I think I missed the fact that Miguel had voiceover because of that (only noticed thanks to the credits).

Very cute game! Nice art and silly music! I think there was little incentive to stretch the maw, as it was easier to just let fruits pass by and safely collect others just by stretching your neck. The only times I took damage was when using my maw haha. Also not sure why you could get lower than the normal height as nothing came my way that was lower (Maybe stuff starts coming way later and I just didn't get to see any?). In any case, pretty nice game <3

Game starts lagging after having only two shapes in the field. It's a funny concept for sure, but at one point I kept drawing and no shape was forming (happened after one shape fell off the bottom, just went through every shape). Good idea for a game! Sadly, couldn't play for very long U^U

I liked it! It was a bit hard to get a hold of some rocks while you were swinging left or right in the air. It was much easier when something was directly above you. I'm not the most patient when it comes to falling down and losing progress and having to restart. Is there an end or is it just infinite climbing? I may try to finish it if I know it doesn't take that long to get to the end

Nice game! The spaceship felt a lil slow to control, so it was a bit hard to position yourself well or avoid projectiles. Also, as the level got harder and you needed to be bigger to destroy shields it also made it more difficult to use a larger size, since you'd absorb a bunch of bullets in the are and then when you ent back to small you still had to shoot a bunch to manage to kill anything. At least there was no penalty for letting enemies get past you and out of the screen, so that's a nice way to balance that it's hard to destroy them when there's so many.

Yooo! This is real polished for having been made in 48 hours! Congrats! I really enjoyed the mechanics, though the arch of the shot felt kind of hard to pull (like, I felt like it could've been a lighter feeling for that, idk how to describe it properly).

Only bug I encountered was on the first level where there was a space you went into and got small, there were three barriers to cross, but when I exited that box space I reappeared between two of those barriers, so I only had to make two of em smaller haha.

Real good level design! The ones where you had to time things right were a lil harder, especially because the character slides a bit, so I slid off some boncy platforms I needed to be on at the right time and had to reset a bunch, but aside from that the rest of the levels felt fun to figure out and execute. Very fun idea! Thanks for sharing it with the world <3

I got up to 300 bubbles. I like how the background slowly makes you ascend. It's nice to look at a big bubble absorving every other bubble. The controls were pretty fun! I do wish there had been something more to it. Like, maybe bumping into the edges of the screen too many times could've made the bubbles pop, which would've added a bit more consequence to poor movement. I most definitely made my big bubble bump way too many times on corners (it made it sound odd haha). Cute little game, but not something to be played for too long I think. Thanks for sharing it <3

I think this was very creative! Constraining objects between each other was definitely an interesting mechanic! The particles for being right and going too far were very useful. The color palette for this game was interesting, the objects were fun in that sense. Nice game! <3

Cute game! I wish the intro text could've advanced by clicking rather than be a sort of cutscene (because I couldn't read the first part fast enough and read the second part too fast and couldn't skip it). Sometimes when jumping you'd stick to the side of a platform unless you let go and let yourself fall. The music was nice! I wish a sound would've played when shooting a note. The little death sound scared me the first time haha

Thank you! Lots of people played around with the musical concept! Very fun to see everyone's ideas! I'll check out your game right away!

I think this is an amazing idea! I only got to level 14 because I wanna try some other games in these last few hours, but I will definitely be going back to it!

The controls were a bit hard to get used to and figure out (took me a bit to know how to teleport boxes between dimensions). I only got to see the 3D levels, didn't get to 4D, but I did notice the music change and add a bit more "depth" to it when I got to the first 3D level so that was neat! Still, it fealt like a bit of a repetitive music, maybe the track is a bit too short for my liking (or perhaps I'm just very slow at figuring out the puzzles haha).

Very good job here! I really enjoyed this!

Very cute and simple game! It's enjoyable for a short time as there's not a scale up in difficulty, but there's merit here! Funny thing that happened was that in the menu the toys started hiding the sound buttons a little haha. The art was adorable and it was an interesting choice to have each of theme make a different sound according to what they were!

Thank you very much! We'll definitely be uploading a better version after the jam! As for a full on game? We'll see!

Pretty fun! It's hard to strike the balance and survive as, obviously, there's some luck involved here, but it was fun to try and strategize! Great little game <3

Bro, I couldn't really play! It started and as I was figuring out what to do I think while trying to weight the crab in the bucket maybe I accidentally gave it to a customer and lost? Also, the fact that when you lose the only option is to close the game and then you can't skip the initial intro? Not great.

The art and the mechanics seemes like they would be fun! But again, even though I tried again I'd just lose before I could really do anything. At least I did get to kill the crabs, which was interesting and kinda fun. But when I was trying to put new dead crabs into another bucket (with an already full bucket between my dead crab and the empty bucket) it'd almost automatically go into the already full bucket. I think it would be good if the crab stayed in the bucket only when letting go of it

Nice little game! It was interesting to figure out how to beat the last level! Definitely felt like a puzzle to solve. Wish it had had some sound, but it's real nice for having been made in 48 hours.

I... I had no choice...

What a fun game! So ridiculous and dark with such a cute aesthetic! Poor man in the backrooms could not join society again. Also, poor child! He got rid of grandma, I wonder who he'll stay with

Cute game! Very hard to control the heavier it is and if you fall with your face to the ground there's no chance to recover except by restarting lol. My strategy to win was just "keep going up, trash will stick to you eventually" and even then it was hard to reach the top haha! Pretty nice

Cute idea, visually appealing, but it lacks a lil in gameplay itself. I'm not sure what the point of scaling the character up was here, but I did like the ending.

Two lil bugs I encountered: when collecting many blue flames(? at the same time, the audios would amplify eachother, so it would play the sound real loud and saturate a bit. And also, in that same instance, if you're collecting a lot of em at the same time and jump, it makes you jump much higher or very far (it made me jump into the ocean once and die lol).

Having some music would've been nice as well, but good job at finishing your game! Thanks for sharing it!

I really liked this!! The clowns were faster to wake up than I thought, which gave me quite a fright on a few levels. A little detail I noticed which doesn't detract from gameplay is that once you die, in that window of time before the retry screen you can still expand your light, which is funny.

One little thing to consider is that after you die if there were too many clowns the volume is real high and it keeps going before the retry screen comes up.

We're working on making changes (to upload a new version after the jam) thanks to all the feedback we've received and saving the highscore is definitely on the list! As well as adding an extra indication to when the parry didn't work aside from the clouds and the characters' animations changing.

Our composer, Cedric, did an amazing job with creating original music for our little toys to play, so we're glad you enjoyed it! The "level" knob was for how loud the music was and the "value" for what key they were playing! The thing to pay attention to though is if the light under them is on or off.

The Rat was the bassist, and our Kangaroos were the guitarists!

I think I spent a good 5 minutes in the first main area trying to jump up onto the platform cubes right where it said you could jump higher if you were moving. It was genuinely so hard for me to control. Even after I maaged to get up on the lowest platform I still managed to slide off. I'm sure if I had managed to get past that the rest of the game would've been fun. Alas, I'm a bad gamer. Thanks for sharing this game with the world tho, I'm happy there's other people that can enjoy it more than me

We’ll definitely be improving the controls after the jam! Thank you for giving us a chance! We worked really hard on our little game <3

So happy you liked our take on the theme! The pedals going down is a known web issue and will be fixed on our next update after the jam! Thank you very much for checking out our game! <3

I loved this. Very cute narrative being told here! The art is real nice and sweet. I loved the character designs! And the last arena for the nightmare was well done (I didn't expecting the eye to blink! Gross! Haha)

A few observations! The dialogue went a little fast, especially on the intro, so I missed a little of it. And speaking of dialogue, I noticed that the brother that broke the toys, his dialogue was on the right when in the room, but in the fighting ring, his toy was on the left, along with his dialogue. It may have been better to keep both on the same side, as at first I was confusing one brother for the other.
The parry was a bit hard to get the hang of (I think I got it in the end, noticing that my parry only worked if I clicked on the enemy's first change of color instead of second) and I understand that the color solution was probably due to not having time to animate the attacks.
I wasn't sure why sometimes I got the chance to attack twice, but I'm not complaining there, the more chances the better.

This game was great! Thanks for making it! <3

It was a nice idea, but I think it could've been executed much better. I think having the person dancing was the most eye catching thing and it was nice to see the music notes start to dance as well, but they advanced very slowly. The melody was nice, but there was a... a sort of "womp womp" sound that hurt my ears a little (Though I suppose that's just a me problem). The music ended and I was there a good... maybe 15-20 seconds? in complete silence, the level still going,  before I decided to stop the game. I know it was a known issue tho, I just didn't expect it to be so long of a pause haha. I think y'all had a good idea. Perhaps with more time and a little more playtesting it could've been very very fun. Congrats on finishing your game in time!

I really liked the idea here! The characters were cute and the way you made the big plant was pretty smart. Biggest issue I had was with the camera sensitivity, it started to make me dizzy. But I still got to the end with 105 flowers! Something I appreciated a lot was the character having a very clear shadow. It helped a lot in the lily pad sections.

I loved the "If you've got no arms, I'm sorry" lol, hilarious.

Took me a sec to figure out the starting menu, but after that it was easy to understand what to do. Only observation I have, I think, is that it would be good if there was a countdown on screen before the "Next" level button showed up, cause I was a bit lost at first regarding that. I understand that it takes a bit to show up in case something starts to fall, but I couldn't tell at first that I had to use up all postions as well before the level could go on haha. In any case, it was a cute and simple game <3

Thank you!! We're glad you like the art!

We're very aware that the tuning mechanic needs a little tuning itself haha. Glad to know you could still enjoy the game despite that <3

Loved the pun title. Very cute dinos. The tutorial was slightly hard to follow as the little meteor moved around with the text and I moved around and he moved with me and it was a bit of a mess, but I got it.

At first I wasn't sure how I was supposed to know if the note was correct, as I would make the meteor play it, but it'd give me no inditcation on if it belonged to the scale or not. Thankfully, I noticed that at the top of the screen it gave me which notes were supposed to be flat or sharp or just normal. It also helped that I know how to read music like that as opposed to with the letters.

The music itself was cute. I'm not sure if it built up over time thanks to me collecting notes or if just kept going by itself with no changes (pretty sure it was the latter). In any case, nice game
