Those collectibles are really hard, i understand they need not be in our faces but hints would be great. For a first game you're doing amazing though

Nice first game! The controls are nice, but the collection was a bit hard sometimes, maybe add a minimap of some sort or how many are left.

Really nice for a first jam game! The controls are very smooth and the environment is charming. The running animals were so funny lol.
Some things which you could add would be a counter to keep track of how many gems you have and how many are left and maybe a minimap.
