Clever take on the theme. I'm sure everyone here can relate to scope creep as a problem :D Funny to see a game built around that. Platforming was good although the dash while falling didn't go in the direction I was expecting (maybe this was by design though). Good game
Quite a challenging platforming game. Really enjoyed the meta angle with the glimpses behind the scenes of things. The way the player character squashed and stretched with the movement added quite a bit to the overall feel of the game. Superb work.
I wasn't expecting this game after seeing the picture! Very cool (and polished) platformer. good job!
Holy twist of the theme haha
I love the comments, they feel so familiar that it hurts inside xD
I have one tiny observation though, which is that some parts of the level are intended to be solved with a mechanic (like gravity), but in reality you can just dash your way to victory. I guess you could try to nerf the dash so you need to hit the ground before reusing it
Love the art and the sound design. Game is a bit hard with a steep learning curve (I suck at platformers).
This is a lovely and engaging platformer in and of itself, tho doesn't fit the theme as I can see. I enjoyed playing it. I'd like to see it expanded and more story.
thank you for the nice words :) altho i would disagree i think it fits the theme pretty well considering its about making a game, something which needs to be built exactly to the scale required and the consequenses of overscoping and mismanaging scale
I expected a joke game based on the title and banner but it was actually a very decent platformer with some very clever concepts. Amazing work!!
Really enjoyed the game even tho it felt a bit hard for me (skill issue on my part XD). The art style is clean, cozy. Music design calm, accurate. Great job! 💪
thank you very much, sorry about the difficulty my last few gamejams always resulted in pretty easy games and i maybe tried to push back on that a bit too hard
I really like how creative you went with the "glitches". The layering issue level was a suprise and therefor a really fun level I think. I did not finish the game (skill issue I guess) but it was good, especially the art.
thank you :)
I really liked the idea of the game and i wanted to explore it more but the controls were honestly not very friendly and i just died all the time. maybe im too bad but the jumping specifically was really troublesome. i liked the idea tho! i wish i could have seen it more
thanks, i really tried making the controls as user friendly as possible but i was just lacking time to test more keybinds and physics changes so sorry for that
Amazing! While there were some things that felt a little off like how slippery the controls felt around corners and how difficult it is to dash while aiming the cursor at the place you want to go, it's hard to tell if those were intentional or not...
Overall great work!
