The merge mechanic is really cool and I like that, however the start is a bit too hard, took me a few attempts. Love the simple visuals! :D

Took me a few tries to get off the ground but once I did it just snowballed from there. Fun game! I was able to successfully tank the framerate by spawning so many enemies/bullets which is always a good sign when "scale" is the theme.

Finished with a score of 214500, while I spawned 10 waves at the same times ! Was a fun experience trying to figure out the cost of the upgrade /  the cost of the merge and which is the most worth at a time ! Lot of potential, maybe in the upgraded version if you merge the same tower it grants a buff or a boost to those towers ?

As a fellow Tower Defense game jamer I found your game really enjoyable !

Good work keep it up !

With some polish, balancing and improvements post-gamejam this could turn out to be a very good TD game. Keep it up! Rated!

I am a bit confused. The enemies felt unbalanced. Maybe I missed something, but the gold I would get is negligable, and enemies had too much health. I mean its a tower defense game, so still pretty enjoyable.

Nice little tower defense game. I really like it! It would be nice to see the cost of the actions, which could be useful, especially for the first few rounds. But otherwise I had a lot of fun! Well done :)

Thanks Florian, I have improved this game so much already, too bad I can't put the improved version to the jam =). Thanks for playing it

Got to 51 levels, after a while started to get super easy and very laggy with too many enemies. I started sending 10 waves at the time, so there were a lot of them :) Very fun nonetheless

Thanks wiechiu, the balance after 20 waves is not very hard in this version, I have tried to balance it quite a bit. Maybe I'll add the new version here when I can =)

Alright, this is my favorite game of the jam so far haha. I'm a sucker for TDs and you delivered perfectly. The gameplay is very clean, scaling feels natural and tower types each feel like they fit their niche. I could play this a lot more, but I really need to sleep since I've been up for over 25 hours. I love the text effects, love the enemies and tower models. Only thing I wish is a hover-over of the cost to do the action, but honestly it stops mattering at a certain point. Very solid submission

Thanks ollie_d, I have actually continued working on this as it was quite a fun idea. I have balanced the spawning of the enemies, health, gold income, scoring and I also limited the player so that they can only have 8 platforms up at a time. Instantly made it more like a game where you have to puzzle around at the beginning so you can get the most of your setup.

I also made it possible to sell entire platforms for half the price. And I added a big laser turret.

very nice -- I'll follow you to hopefully catch an updated post :)

Pretty fun tower defence but either I didn't really get the scaling part of it or it has not had enough time to be crystalized?

Either way, clean visuals and addicting sound design!

Thanks demborg f or the comment, kinda ran out of time to balance the game properly, but it was indeed quite fun.
