How does your game fit the theme?
Scale Event Starting! is a game that is constantly in action, as you can tell from the name of the game. The main reason for this action is the event system and boss battles that take place every 10 seconds. Designing the events and organizing the boss battles fits in with the GMTK Game Jam 2024 “Built to Scale” theme as Scale means that the character is in scale (power-up), the dimensions are in scale, the time is in scale, the music is in scale and of course the battles are in scale.

That window scale got me good haha
The style is good, and the random effects are a nice addition to an otherwise tried concept. It got hard kind of out of nowhere, when I got to the miniboss i just died when everything before was a cake walk

For some people, the game can be difficult from the beginning, we tried to balance the difficulty of the game as much as possible, even if we have limited time, so that everyone can enjoy it at the moment. In the future, we may make choices about the game difficulty, thank you for your feedback. Maybe boss battles will be an easier experience for you if you use your Dash damage and Time slowdown.

this game its very hard i barely made it to the first boss

Awesome game, super fun to play. The CRT shader was awesome, the art was great, the gameplay was fun, all around awesome.

Super cool game!! I loved the visual style and the effects you did, and the music went with it really well! I'm not great at bullet hells personally, and even if i didn't beat the game, I had a lot of fun and liked the random effect aspect as well.

I enjoyed that you incorporated the theme of "Scale" into the game in so many different ways! Rescaling the window was particularly good. I also liked the art style, and the music was great! I did think it was a little punishing for a jam game--I might've preferred if it was easier to heal. Overall, great job!
