Pretty cute and relaxing game, nice use of objects with varying sizes but some did not have collisions on them so that was a challenge at first.
nice and relaxing game! i liked the narrative being shown through the objects and a lot of polish went into this game. nice job!
Nice little build your own tower game! Not much to complain about :)
Really enjoyed the concept. I made it all the way up to the "Thanks for playing" :)
Very cozy game, great artstyle. Good job
This is such a beautiful idea! I love the way you get little snippets of story from the different objects! And the childlike blocks reinforced the feeling of remembering stories from an older perspective. It reminded me a little of this Danish book about school kids building a “tower of meaning,” although that’s significantly less nostalgic and more nihilistic.
This was a nice, chill game. Good job!
Maybe the nicest tower building game I've played this jam. I like how the narrative is told through objects, the art is superb, the gameplay is nice and forgiving, just a really sweet little time. Wonderful
This was really lovely. Not only is the music and art wonderful, but the theme and gameplay together was touching. I like that thematically you didn't punish me with a topply-physics-building tower, instead letting me climb this assemblage pillar of objects - as in we're the jumble of our past needn't be broken (or how I'm choosing to read it). From a gameplay feel perspective alone, I also liked that you made me pick up each individual orb to get new memories/pieces to build with. I do have one small nit, though, which is that I got stuck on one side of tower and couldn't get around to the ladder side I'd made; possible that was a balancing feature (maybe I should have designed a better tower I could scale both sides of?), but since I was interpreting the game as more chill, I felt frustrated at my inability to progress that run. Lovely overall, nicely done!
Thank you so much for the kind words! Glad to see someone getting what I was trying to go for, even though I was worried that it's quite incomplete. About that last bit, you can delete props if you want by right-clicking :D
