Nice idea! Love a tower defence game and being able to run around your towers is lots of fun

This game is an example of something that works well but feels incomplete due to the lack of menus / sound. Always worth working on these things to bring it together, even for a Jam!

I like where you are coming from in this game- the creativity is through the roofs. I think a main menu is more than necessary, aswell as the tutorial. I like where you are coming from. If you have some free time please rate and look at our submission. :)

Developer

Thank you very much! There are many features including those you mentioned that I would have liked to include but just didn't have time for, but you are correct and I appreciate the suggestions

Unfotunately, I think I won't have to view any more submissions from now until the end of the rating period (Unless they are playable on mobile), otherwise I absolutely would

Very interesting premise of building on a small table to build large scale structures. However the lack of UI elements (gold, shooting recharge, selected building) make the gameplay not very enjoyable. Overall more feedback elements are needed to polish off the experience

Developer

Yes, definitely those extra features would have made a huge difference. Unfortunately time just did not allow for it in the end

Thank you for playing my game!

The idea is very cool! It might be a bit too ambitious for a game jam, but hats off to you for giving it a try!

There are quite a few feedback elements missing that would have made the experience clearer and more enjoyable, but as I mentioned, it was a complex project to tackle alone in such a short time, so it's completely understandable.

The one thing I think you should have really pushed to include was a money counter, that would have made a significant difference!

I believe that, with further development, this idea could become truly interesting if applied to a multiplayer co-op mode, where one player defends the walls and the other manages the constructions. I think that would be a blast!

Developer(+1)

Thank you for your extensive and valuable feedback! I promise, if I would have added just one more thing, it would have been a gold counter, but unfortunately I just didn't get round to it

As for it being too ambitious, I don't think so, I just wish it didn't take me so long to settle on an idea, then I could have given this project the time it really needed

A co-op mode of this is definitely an interesting idea, and sounds like it could be really fun

Thank you again for your post, I really do appreciate it

Haaa, this was very cool !!!

How can I know my score ? I want to do better !!!

Developer(+1)

Sorry, there is no statistics tracking so no score (due to lack of time in the jam), but I'm glad you thought it was cool!

A cool game with a lot of promise! I love the use of the theme.

Developer

Thank you so much!

Game is cool but I got softlocked in the build menu when I died while building. Interesting concept though, in the run I got to play it was really fun!

Developer

Thank you! Unfortunately in this build when you lose you have to restart the game to replay (Due to some bugs, I know the cause)

That was a very inventive implementation of the jam theme! I also like the visual style of the game.

Main nitpick is with the complete lack of any audio - which lead to quite a few failures from enemies reaching the middle of the thing whilst I was looking away from it, either dealing with other enemies or trying to enhance my defences. I also wasn’t a fan of the rather dramatic camera sway as well, felt a bit unnatural.

Still, pretty good work, given the time constraints.

Developer(+1)

Thank you for your feedback, I very much appreciate it. Audio would indeed be nice, unfortunately I just didn't have the time for it

Love the concept, I feel like there would be a great benefit to adding a noise to the enemies to help with awareness of the creatures. Definitely in desperate need for some polish, though with some playtesting and development I think this could be a great game. Good stuff and nice accomplishments in 96hours keep at it!

Developer(+1)

Yes, some corners were cut to meet the deadline and polish is definitely required, but I am happy with what I have got. Thank you for your time!

I died and was unsure why, but after taking time to understand I can see a lot of potential in the game.

Developer(+1)

Sorry for your unsatisfying death, but thanks for taking a look :)

Submitted(+2)

Very interesting concept, construction lacks a bit of feedback. Loved the enemy model <3

thank you :)

Developer

Yes, feedback is lacking unfortunately. But thanks for appreciating my enemy model!

I didn't even realise I was being attacked until I lost the game. I was in the build menu, trying to place things. ^^; A cool idea, I wish I could see what it would be like after a little more work has been put into it!

Developer

Yes, I know the feeling of losing without seeing it. Thank you for taking a look at my game!
