The player has a sword that ROLLS around a die, and must DICE board game pieces to survive. Hey, we can interpret the theme however we like, right? :)

Addicting! Simple yet better than most complex looking games I tried. Awesome job.
A cute game, executed in a humouristic manner. Pretty fun to play for a while as there is variety brought in by various types of enemies. I like the way the difficulty scales as you go. Well done!
Simple, smart and fun. Solid loop, cute art & some lil drama. Just bravo ! Proudly got to 281 by waving my mouse in circles until a bullet found a weakness in my garde... With a few more twists and balancing (counterattacks, throw bullets, obstacles, juicy effects, levels, etc) you have an addictive hit!
Thank you for the Newgrounds vibes <3
Ayy thanks! And yeah, I agree; balancing a jam game is hard. I had plans to introduce more powerful enemy tiers but they were scrapped for the sake of polish (game feel/audio design/the intro). None of it is worth it if meeps aren’t fun to slice in my book.
Mid-to-late 2000’s Newgrounds is best Newgrounds <3
I love the approach to the theme. The intro is so epic. It made me invested into the die's struggles before I even got to see it in it's full glory.
Very enjoyable game! Had me retrying a few times to get a better score (I got to 80). I think it would be better if the castles disappeared after a while.
I would like it if the camera was zoomed out a bit to give some 'padding' to the game area, as now it is quite difficult to hit an enemy standing on the edge without moving the cursor outside and losing tracking.
Thanks for your kind words and feedback! I’m glad you enjoyed the intro cutscene too; I went for a “self-aware, overly-dramatic” vibe, but it was mainly an excuse to have a cool title card reveal :)
Unfortunately I couldn’t get itch’s fullscreen mode to support a 4:3 aspect ratio, so I had to keep it in a small window. What you can do at present however is zoom the actual browser in a bit (CTRL and +).
Towers can be destroyed by dashing into them. Their spawn rates are too high if you aren’t used to them yet, I’ll agree with you there.
Oh, I did not realize the dash works on towers and thought they just stay there forever. That makes sense.
What an amazing game. Despite its simplicity, it has lots of depth and is also extremely fun. Great job.
Way more fun to play than I initially thought. I like the simple atmosphere and the variety of enemies.
this is so fun
This game feels so polished and stylish, despite being made in only 48 hours! Really great work, and the dramatic theming was top notch : )
This is so fun, reminds me of a lot of old flash games I used to play. I would definitely play something like this for a long time back in high school. Great stuff!
Ayy thanks for playing, I def have a soft spot for the golden age of Flash. There’s a reason why every single enemy has the iconic Newgrounds angry face :)
Actually really fun yo xd quite a *dice* game.
Also love the theme <3
It's so satisfying and the music makes it epic and hilarious at the same time. Great work!
Amazing x)
nice game, enjoyied to play.
Very quick to pick up and play, good sfx and solid gameplay loop!
Sweet! The combat is crunchy, and the mouse movement to attack worked well! Well done!
Had so much fun playing this!
Very cool!
awesome <3
Love it!
This was a fun one! Having the player itself count down towards the dash is pretty clever and the game has that "easy to learn, hard to master" quality. It does feel like the dash itself could be more impactful, as right now it felt more like a hindrance than a reward. Good submission!
Thank you for your kind words!
The dash serves to get you out of trouble, combo-strike a bunch of meeps, or, most importantly, destroy guard towers. I will admit it takes a bit of getting used to, no doubt about that!
