The visuals and sounds are awesome, and the concept is really neat too. But my biggest problem with the game is that I can't find a tutorial. It would be really helpful to just have a list of all the die faces with their effects. Additionally, you can sometimes get screwed over by the rng if it only gives you roofs Lol. But the game concept is super cool and the interpretation is very creative! If you update the game after the jam with a tutorial, I'll definitely come back and play it again!

That was actually really fun! I liked it, and if you improve the visuals a little, and maybe do a bit more tweaking and stuff, you can release it into a fun mobile game.

For some reason dice count substracts twice when using a die: first on pick-up and second on landing.

Interesting concept! I love getting some creative freedom with solving puzzles.

Also nice lol

Fun concept. A bit much luck involved perhaps, but still very interesting and enjoyable. Very satisfying to build stuff.

It would be cool for all the dice to look at the player, sometimes it's not clear what the rotated picture means when you're not familiar with the game. It took time to figure out the logic of the game, and when I figured it out, it was interesting, but the beginning is the most difficult, very often you lose at the beginning.

I love the atmosphere, sound, and visual design, though I wish I understood how to play because it seems like it might be some good, relaxing fun.

How do you get more dice? Seems like I can only place 3 no matter what I do

There are hints under question mark in the corner. More straightforwardly, you get extra dice for:

  • putting roof on top of other die
  • putting office (monitor icon) on top of other dice (the higher the better)
  • putting services (hand with gear icon), so it have neighbors on the sides
  • putting bar (drink icon) on the ground. You generally lose additional dice for putting anything on the ground, so it cancels in this case.

Ah, that's helpful. Awesome.

Maybe give some starting blocks for a base. 60% of games start with a block that just loses you the game from the starts. Also may just cut out the reroll block. It doesnt do anything but take extra time.

True!

So smart!!!! I don't really understand the purpose of the dice landing on a reroll though as it doesn't contribute anything to the game and just forces you to roll again.

Other than that, design-wise this is my favourite one so far.

Developer

Thanks a lot!

Reroll exists, because there would be 6th side left empty and I didn't want to complicate game further.

Ah cool! That makes total sense :). Would it have severely changed the game's balance if you repeated one of the other tiles twice?

Another thing you could have done is make it a "Extra Points" roll instead of just a reroll. That way it doesn't feel completely pointless as you'll get a few extra points for landing on there and then rerolling
