Nice game. Liked the graphics. Please check out my game.

Oh man I love this. I'm so bad at it but I love the concept so much where ramming into things causes a die to roll and probably increase your speed which makes you ram into another thing...

That little 'TV' with the dice rolling was so cute hahaha I like it! :)

I did pretty badly at a time of 142.. but I got there! Interesting mechanics. I think I'd agree with what others mentioned about something more to let the player know the dice has done something, because it's not an area I focus my attention on too much.

A space driving dice, nice mix!

What I liked?

- The general graphic style is pretty neat, especially the VFX of the spaceship

- Using the spaceship felt quite satisfying, a great sense of speed

Other comments:

- At the beginning I got a great boost of speed, then I was a bit lost, I followed the first arrow, but it wasn't the first one. So I had to re-do a full turn (my turn time was not really good haha). I said all this, because I think that it would be nice to link the appartion of the arrow to the current Checkpoint to take, for me it should improve the clarity of the navigation.

- Sometimes I found that the collisions were a bit imprecise, like if the spaceship collider was a bit too big and/or some LD elements.

Overall good job!

The mechanic is creative, but maybe it can be polished to be easier to play

Fun little game, I liked the idea ! I think inverting the mechanic on the spacebar could be interesting to dig :)

I love the drifting mechanic, and it's a nice way of reigning in some of the randomness! But I wish it was a bit clearer how the dice rolls affected the ship.

Very silly and fun. My "strat" was to spam the drift button. My one wish was that the dice was more connected to the gameplay or at least more connected so the player could play around the various dice values.

Ngl I entered the submission because the artwork was appealing (good work on that front) and eventually liked the idea. Controls fell a bit clunky at first but crashing is fun and it really feels like you can get better with some practice.

Also, the dice-screen was very creative.

PS: Guess I’ll have to get better

That's actually a really good score for either map. :)

Cool game I crashed a lot

This is so frustrating yet I don't want to stop playing. Good job?

The gameplay and visuals are good, but I didn’t  feel the influence of the dice.

Submitted(+1)

Well done for making this game, love the visual, specifically the die in the little tv, it's really funny x)

Submitted(+1)

It's really fun to see that the die seems like reacts to the ship's physics! Well done!

Glad you enjoyed it! I think BlueMoons worked very hard on the die and it came out nice.

Cool idea, the dice controlling the ships speed is cool, but i found the controls a little dificult to play with, other than that solid game!

Thanks for playing!

Interesting idea! I found the controls a bit too hard; there’s no indication of a dice roll happening other than the small dice screen in the bottom, and you can’t afford looking there often enough (since this distracts you from the track), so speed changes feel way too random, maybe some sound indication of speed changes would improve it? Collisions cause the ship to rotate a little towards the collider, increasing the chance that you’ll collide the same thing a moment later, effectively making you stuck in the collision loop unless you stop, drift & rotate (and you naturally don’t want to do this since it slows you down). Overall I’d say it’s a decent idea but the movement details need some tweaking and polishing. Anyways, good job!

Thanks for playing! Very good point on the collisions and rotation. It made the collision feel more impactful, but maybe I could have bounced the player away from the obstacle a little.

Nice drifting mechanics!!

The dice could have more real state on the screen, so that the player can look at it without having to stop looking at the track.

Thanks for playing!

Yeah, originally, the dice roller was just above the ship so it was always next to the focal point, but it was also obstructing so I had to move it. My plan was actually to have a GUI element display the current top face, but then time happened.
