Game gets pretty stale since there is not much to do with only moving and autoshooting. And not many enemies for bullet hell. Also at the beginning the cards fly so short distance.
Great work with the visuals! The gameplay is a bit monotone but well done for 48h!
The art work is really nice! Really liked the dice roll at the start to modify the character. The attacks in the main part of the game felt just a little bit passive
Looks pretty polished and is fun. I didn't quite get how the minigame at the beginning works, but it's a nice addition to the game. It would be nice if you could also do more than just fight enemies during the main game, maybe collect some upgrades. It is possible to get very close to the top border of the screen, making it easy to run into enemies above the screen, I would adjust the camera scrolling. Overall a pretty cool game.
Cool art style! And fun mechanism
feels really fun to play! I like the dice animations in the beginning, those were really smooth. The color palette was really nice and I liked the trajectory of the cards being thrown. Could definitely see this expanding to be a larger game someday!
Thanks, the dice are actually rendered in a 3D scene.
Nice graphics. There is something very satisfying about how these cards fly. With some punch (camera shake, sprite flash...) to the impact when the card hits the enemy, you might be holding a recipe for a mesmerizing gameplay loop.
Yeah, with a bit more polish the gameplay loop can be a lot more satisfying. Thanks for the feedback!
A fun little game with great art and music
ah man Im a sucker for games like these. blasting through little demons as a flippin anime protagonist devil? sign me up. Theres not much feedback I could add, maybe make the floor a bit less distracting and have a litlle pointer to where the white enemies are? idk
Great advice, I've actually already started implementing something similar already! Thanks so much for playing!
It feels a little too much zoomed in but the ambiance is pretty good and the gameplay works well, auto shoot also has a vampire survivors vibe. Good job :)
Thanks, Glad you enjoyed!
