Well definitely an interesting twist on mirror puzzles. Not entirely what I was expecting, but was a fun game to play through. I wills ay there was not a lot of feedback though.
For example clarification on which side was outputting, how the buttons fully worked etc. it was a little vague sometimes and I feel like maybe having the emitter be a different color could help with that or something similar.
Also one other thing I would say is that the dice were quite big when picked up which was a little hard to then check their sides where moving them around. I think maybe making them get added to a bag or something similar that you can pull them out and rotate normally could help. Although it depends.
Speaking rotating normally I ddi mention it while I was playing but for reference I think maybe having the control scheme for rotating them be Q/E for rotating the die left and right and scroll wheel for forward and backward. It's a little more moving a round, but I feel like it would allow easier messing with it. Though that may just be me, and it may still be worth keeping the current one and allowing for both.
The controls had their issues, but other than that, it was a cool puzzle game, with a very nice ambientation
Thank you for playing ! controls are on the "need to be fixed list" :)
Beautiful graphics, smart puzzle design! Well done, very impressive in 48 hours! Thanks for stopping by the stream to share!
Thank you ! This goes right to my heart ! Your stream was realy nice !
Pretty good game for 48 hours! Especially loved the visuals.
thank you ! <3
Very cool game and very smart! Also, Unreal Engine... very bold for a jam haha.
I really enjoyed the puzzle aspect. I didn't understand the big white sided die for a bit, but I understood it on the last puzzle. Otherwise, everything was clear to understand
Environment looked cool, though my framerate kinda slowed when looking at the whole room. Some more variety in environment would be cool for future level additions.
Music got a little repetitive after a bit to be honest.
I often picked up the dice when I meant to press the button on the pedestal, which reset the orientation of the die and messed me up sometimes. Either stopping that reset or making tighter hitboxes for the pickup would help :).
Overall awesome work. I'd love to play more if it gets more levels and such!
Thank you a lot for playing and those good feedbacks ! I'm indeed planing to continue working on it after the jam, fixing all that stuff and adding more levels and mechanics ^^
I liked your game quite a lot! It was an interesting puzzle game! But making your controls easier might make this even better!
Overall, a nice game built in 48 hours!
P.S. Check out our game too!
Thank you ! already saw yours on many streams and already rated it ;) very nice job too !
Interesting puzzle game. I don't really like the fact the environment does not have anything to do with the puzzles thematically or directly. Other than that the controls are the main issue:
Thank you for playing and good feedbacks, as I planed to continue working on the game your ideas are well noted ! :)
Very well-made puzzler with great visuals.
The dice when held in the hand obscures the crosshair making it hard to see what I'm doing/ where to place things. I would move the dice to the side or away from the crosshair so players can see where they are looking. Some sort of feature where you can inspect the sides of the dice before placing, perhaps a UI element showing the sides that you can't see would help.
It was a bit unintuitive that dice sides had to be equal to connect. I think you could've taught players about it by having a puzzle where two dices had the same side connected and a third where they were different values without a connection. Having a setup like this would intuitively teach players about the mechanic.
The sensitivity was a bit odd and movement felt rough.
With some polish, more levels, and more mechanics you could release this as a full release.
Thank you for your support ! I'm starting to think I'm going to continue working on it, your feedback are precious and noted ! <3
Awesome entry for the jam! Great visuals and my only advice would be to make the controls more easier to use! Apart from that great game!
BEST OF LUCK:)
P.S. Check out our game too.
Thank you ! i will ;)
Wow the art here is amazing and everything runs silky smooth, great job!
Thank you !
Great entry! The visuals are insane, the music is very relaxing. Very good job for a 2-day jam!!! Congrats!!
Thank you ! My mate did a realy good job for the music, apreciate your feedback !
This is a great game! It was kind of challenging and took me a bit to figure out what I was actually doing.
I had a minor issue, and that was that the game didn't run that well for me, and I'd say I have a pretty decent computer, but I did get a warning about it beforehand.
Thank you for playing it ! Sorry for the poor optimization ^^
The aesthetic is so beautiful, I really loved it!
Really nice puzzle game, good job :) As others have said, the controls could have been a little better, but other than that, I really enjoyed the game!
Thank you !!!
I really like the game. It's challenging and enjoyable. Good work!
thank you ! <3
Nice puzzle game! Great job!
Thank you !
Very neat concept and a good design space for puzzles! The ambiance and mood were absolutely wonderful. I found the controls to be a little finnicky, and the position of the die viewmodel when held made it a little hard to mentally keep track of where each number was, but after a brief adjustment period I really enjoyed myself!
Thank you a lot ! Agree with you on controls, definitively need more work ^^
please dont forget to save your ratings ^^'
Done! I hadn't cleared my queue yet so I came back to rate it.
This had such nice graphics, took some time to get the hang of the puzzles but i didnt stopped untill i finished all of them , very nice and clever puzzle game! congratulations on finishing and submitting it on time for the gamejam!
Thank you very much for your feedback and for finishing the game ! <3
The game looks beautiful.
Thank you !
The file took a long time to download and ran slow on my laptop - the engine definitely isn't made for people like me but that's okay. I found that the rooms were really dark and it was hard to see the dice, but once I found it I completed the first room and went through before picking up the dice in the second room and having the game crash. I wish the dice stayed rotated when you picked it up from the pedestals again, because it was hard for me to see what the side numbers were after I rotated it and the die kept going back to the original rotation when I tried to adjust. I don't know how long the game was but I could see a bigger puzzle game being made with these mechanics as well as additional puzzles to figure out.
thank you very much for your perseverance, indeed I had very little time to work on the optimization and I am sorry that you could not enjoy the game to the fullest. Good lesson for the next time !
Very interesting idea, had fun playing, keep up the good work!
