I've also struggled fitting the theme into a platforming experience and it was last minute that I had my idea so I definitely know what you went hrough.

The movement and even the jumping is pretty good. The jump is a bit floaty but it doesn't really feel too bad.  I think making it 3rd person would've made it a little bit easier to not miss jumps in the beginning.

Congrats on submitting!

The movement mostly feels nice, but the jumping is a bit off. I think adding some coyote time would help, because I felt like some jumps didn't register even though they should have. That aside, the controls were fairly precise.

Developer

Yea coyote time is definitely something I'm hoping to add post jam.  The jumpings a little off since I was messing with infinite acceleration as well so that probably doesn't help.

very fluid movement

Interesting concept! For a last minute idea, it's a nice prototype!

Well, guess there isn't much to rate, but if given more time, maybe the concept could've come into something. Don't know if the game will fit the theme though. This is more of a parkour game than the "dice" game. But good job.

Nice level design. I read that this was a last minute game idea, so obviously there's not enough time to polish it off. But I did get what the game was trying to do. Good job!

The concept you had was interesting, its too bad you ran out of time but this could be a good foundation! I do like how the jump has some real distance to it.

Hey there, ready for a story?

It’s unfortunate that I don't have any windows devices meaning that I won’t be able to play your game, however. I would like to say that your game page could be brightened up with maybe a few screenshots so that even people who can’t play could get a sense of what’s going on. From what other people have said, great job on finishing your game!

Restart button didn't work for me :(
Yet, cute little platformer

Developer

Hmm, I'll have to try and hunt that down it should've.  Did it just do nothing or some specific?

Submitted

It just did nothing when I pressed it

Developer

Hmm alright.  I'll try and test it and see what happens, I may have just forgotten to code it in or something.

The movement feels very precise! Reminds me a bit of Roblox' obbys but with better controls. Will be a good prototype with a bit more content!

Cool prototype for a platformer, but I wish there something more to do than collecting dice
