Nice one :-)
Time’s a bit short - but thanks to the tutorial at least I knew where to look! Fits the theme super, I like the casino-flair! Well done!
Thank you soo much for the feedback !! :D
Very fun game and cool idea! I wish the timer had been just a little more forgiving, but I did amass quite the fortune before I took too long one time XD I like how quickly one can understand the game :)
Thank you so much !! yeah, we do regret keeping the timer that short, nevertheless we are super happy you enjoyed the game !! :D hope you had a fun time jamming too :))
The presentation is amazing, this is a whole lot of game to get done in 48 hours wow! The music is great and it feels really polished for such a short jam. Great job!
Thank you so much for the lovely feedback !! <3 Glad you enjoyed the game :))
Interesting concept! I like it, it is challenging but not too difficult, the timer gave me just the time to seek for the correct answer. But maybe you could have made the timer a limit for how long you can watch the board with all the combination, and let the player take all his time to give his answer after the countdown is over, because it is a bit stressfull not being sure if you are going to type your answer quickly enough haha!
The tutorial was great because the text showed up right nrext to the thing it explained and it made understanding the game much easier!
I will say that the game can get a bit repetitive after a while, but I enjoyed it for the time I played!
Also, the buttons hitbox positions were a bit off on the web build in fullscreen (with a 1080p display), and I had to click outside of them sometimes.
Fun game, good job :)
Mhm, that is a fantastic idea! , to limit the player's view time for the emotional chart, Nevertheless, we are super happy you enjoyed the game, and we are greatly appreciative of your lovely and constructive feedback !! Hope you had a fantastic time jamming too :D
This is a really fun game! It looks very polished and the animations look smooth! One thing I noticed is that you used a float (or something like that) to store the money, and when I got to ridiculously high amounts of money it would display ##e+# (# is any number), maybe use a double next time? Other than that I had lots of fun playing this game!
Hey ! Thanks for the feedback, The exponential number was actually deliberate :)) , sort of like an adrenalin feeder. Nevertheless hope you a fantastic jam aswell :D !
Very interesting concept! An easy mode would be appreciated as (in my opinion) the timer is way too short for new players. The mechanics are interesting, though the money feels a bit worthless as (to me) the only real goal is to not run out of time. I can't wait to see where you take this in the future!
Yea, That sounds like a great idea !! Thanks for the feedback :)) Hope you had a wonderful jam too !! :D
Something I have not seen before and really well presented. I think others have made some good shouts on timings and maybe adding some different layers to the memory or hedging bets, but what you have done in 48 hours is amazing. Great work!
Thank you so much for the superb feedback !! I do think we forgot about adding a sound for the timer ticking down , nevertheless we are suuper happy you loved the game :D <3
nice game and good concept.
good job.
Thank you so much !! :D
Interesting concept, the main mechanic is quite unique, I just wish there was a little more time to make your guess because I couldn't look at the emotions table without my time running out, so I could only blind guess
Mhmm yeah we probably should have increased it by a few more seconds, Nevertheless, we are suuper thankful for your feedback !! :D Hope you had a great jam too :))
Everything is great except this gif animation on the page's background :D if you aren't playing in fullscreen, it is unbearable :D
Apart from this, everything is really good! Nice job!
Thank you so much for the feedback !! :D glad you enjoyed the game !! :))
This was actually really fun! I enjoyed the panic of having to scour the chart for the combinations! Also your music choice and graphics were superb. Really created a fun dirty casino vibe.
Some minor suggestions: I think maybe adding a memory factor where you have to remember the opponent's previous emotions would also make for really interesting gameplay. Then you'd actually be unsure at times if your memory is correct, thereby only betting half or even a forth. Also your transition between the start menu and the game itself was a bit clunky on my playthrough.
Overall, really good job! I think this is definitely a top tier game and worth the time to develop further into a full scale game.
Mhmm yea that is another superb idea I think we missed out on adding the idea of limited memory, Thank you so much for your lovely and kind feedback !! I hope you had a fantastic time jamming too :D <3 !!
Amazing game! Good polish and very good idea. I think though that there never was a reason to bet lower than maybe if you feelt you didn't have anu clue but overall amazing game.
Thank you so much for the feedback !! :D <3
Impressive polish for a game jam game !
I suck at finding the faces so I was really bad at the game.
How did you decide the value of the faces combinations ?
Does one specific face have a value ?
Hey, Happy you enjoyed the game and Hope you had a great jam too :D! In terms of logic, the combinations of emotions(as in, their sprites) are the same, but the value they give out are randomized. so an array of ints are generated and randomized every round and the value of these ints are entered as a string on an other array of text elements. thats how its done :))
Really liked the idea. I'm quite bad at matching the faces quickly, so i was losing on timeout quite quickly though :D
Thank you for the feedback !! :D
JAZZ
JAZZZ :D !!
I'd like to cash out!
Very fun game with excellent presentation. If this game were expanded, I would love to see some more room for strategy - currently there's not much to think about; just look up the exact emotion combo and go all-in. I would love to see more from you!
Hahaha, Mhmm yea we did want to add more objectives and goals but decided not to risk losing time, so we settled for a simpler gameplay, Nevertheless, we are suuper happy you enjoyed the game :D !! Hope you had a fun jam too :)))
Cool atmosphere, great art and the added tutorial was really cool to see in the game
Thank you so much for the feedback !! Happy to see you enjoyed the game :D
Awesome job!
Thank you !! :D
Great job! I really like the concept and the music! And the timer adds a nice dose of stress! Thanks for that game
Thank you so much !! Glad you enjoyed the game :D !!
It's really hard game. When the values of emotion chart are always changing is't almost imposible a least for me to master the game. But the idea is cool, maybe if there were easier guesses (for example player would have: "5 or 6", "even number") the player could decide level of risk that is willing to take. Of course easier guesses would have less value and the player could lose more. But that is just my idea.
Mhmm that is a cool idea !! Thank you so much for the thought-out feedback :D
