I love the idea, art and the music is catchy too! It was very fun to strategies how i should use my dice to get the best result. The only comment i really have is the fact that blobs wander between areas over time. I think that it would've been better if the blobs stayed in their areas after each turn to make it more reliant on strategy rather than luck or waiting. Other than that great job!!!

How does your game fit the theme?
We thought that it would be interesting to limit what actions the player has to control the board by giving them randomly rolled numbers. It was important to us, that rolling a 1 wasn't "better" than rolling a 6 - we wanted the players to have to adapt their strategy based on what dice they rolled.

Cool idea! I like how you are given 4 dice per round, so you have to think two moves at a time or you could end up getting stuck with a bad move on your second set of dice! As others have said, tooltips and highlighting which blobs would be affected would be welcome changes - unless obfuscating that information from the player is part of the design? Do the blobs wander between areas over time?
Solid foundations, and the presentation was lovely. Great job!
This game concept is quite nice, it was a bit hard to remember what each dice number did and there was no text saying what number 6 did, other than that I had a fun time playing!
thank you so much for the comment! I actually didn't realize we hadn't added a text for the last one, it probably got lost in photoshop formatting) thank you for mentioning that! (6 does the opposite of 5, so if there are more red blobs than blue ones, the red ones turn blue and vice versa). Glad you still liked the game!
the game has a cool mechanic but it is quite hard to use correctly
i know i am supposed to put the dice in the area slot to choose where to act on but the actions were quite confusing
also i crashed the game, it was probably a bug but you can spawn an infinite amount of blobs (until it crashes of course)
otherwise, this game has a cool concept and the visuals look very nice, the music was quite cool too
Very clever design. Harder than it seems, but the tactical/strategy aspect is really cool. Though it's sometimes hard to read how many blobs are in any given area and even which of them are (since they're constantly moving around ;))
I see the strategic potential of the game and am excited about it, but it is difficult to play. The dice are on the edge, so I can't see them at times. All the dice should be at the bottom of the two holes to vary them more quickly. Also, the bugs should have numbers or something. I love such population games!
The game especially the art looks very polished! Love the idea of using 2 dice to do multiple actions. Great job!
Creative idea, which is always refreshing. Art style and music was a good fit for the game. I especially liked the strategic aspects of the game. I develop on Mac, so I had to test this on a crappy Asus laptop with an even crappier touchpad, and keyboard controls would’ve been nice (dragging the dice across the screen was quite cumbersome). Good job and congrats on finishing the Jam!
Totally agree with feedback below especially about what a nice job you did, the QOL of swapping dice, and the huge need of tooltips ;P I read the description AFTER playing (btw wow at that detail) and.. well.. seems I got most of them right without the tooltips, but I felt much less of a nerd not knowing what my skills do and I didn't like that xD
Very creative entry, made clearly with care. Superb job and congratz!
really cool! i really enjoyed this game plus the art is beautiful! i would love to have a tooltip explaining the actions at the left but once you learn them its pretty cool!
Wow that was really polished! Surprising amount of depth for a 2 dice turn. Liked the board and the visuals too. Great work!
Models look great. The music definitely works. And a nice game concept to top it off.
Some suggestions: I found myself pulling up the action descriptions a lot, tooltips or something could have been helpful. Could just be me, but I kept wanting action on the left side like "Take x action in y place", and it's a little cumbersome to swap the two dice around. I also got the feeling that the dice are a bit far from the activation pads, but they really don't have to be.
I especially liked light up effects and the map sections. It was cool to see the prior versions of that. Nice work overall!
creating this entire game with just 2 people is no small feat! It's really cute and really fun. I love it!
