Nice game. I think it would be nice to somehow force player to roll. Because right now when you got a good roll there is no reason to change. Just move and attack.
The art style is something that makes me smile! The game is so good-looking that I want to play again and again - well done!
i love the character sprites and animations! it would be nice to have a visual indicator for the player's hp. sometimes it appears that die rolls do not give consistent effects (e.g. a roll of 1 either gives a single or dual shots). maybe the effects can be varied too so there are situations when one roll is better than the others because i kept rolling to get a 3 or 4 and played like normal. but i enjoyed it anyway and i'm sure these are easy fixes. great job.
This is the most epic one so far. Very impressed with the music and art!
Thank you! You have great tastes :D
Overall quite fun to play, however I think the charakter moved a bit too fast for the camera and I managed to get stuck after rolling against a wall. Still pretty solid game!
Thanks! Unfortunately, you found a couple of bugs that broke through. I ran out of time to fix the roll-through wall issue, and there's a weird speed boost bug that appears randomly. I didn't know about the speed boost one until after submitting, whoops!
Really dig the presentation. Reminds me of cartoons from the 90's.
Yeah, the art style totally has an old cartoon vibe. A brushed background with pen-stroked characters. *Chef's Kiss*
Thank you!
Incredibly polished experience. You guys knocked it out of the park. I love the tradeoff between keeping a high dice value and rolling away to survive. Very clever!
Art, music and SFX tie in perfectly and it feels very satisfying to play.
Thank you! We thought we were very clever, too, haha. I'm delighted with how this turned out. :D
This really is one of my favorites so far. Really simple but super fun at the same time. The art really sells it to me. Good Job!
Thank you so much! Brennan and Spencer (the artists) killed it.
Totally in love with the art style, simple and nice to look at.
The gameplay, altough it could use some more mechanics, feels really smooth and is so much fun. Great job! :)
Thank you! I love the style differences between the world/environment art and the characters. They work well in tandem.
Yeah, the time limit was a significant limiting factor, so many unique ideas couldn't come to fruition.
Really fun and great art!
Thank you! Yeah, the artists did an amazing job.
Nice idea and cool concept! is there a bug with the rolling of the dice? I only got 1 and 4.
Thanks! :) You should be able to roll 1 through 6. I've played it quite a bit and only a few times did I get so unlucky that I rolled multiple 1's in a row.
Nice art!
Thank you! They killed it :D
The sprite and art combined with the sounds is a well put together experience. I would of liked to have some kind of UI showing action cooldowns to help with the 1 life system
Thank you! The team did a great job. Also, great callouts! I wanted to have those too, but I ran out of time to put them in.
a bit hard
