Just plain JAMMING with this game! Sick beats, sick gameplay, super clever design, and great character artwork. With some updates, new tracks, maybe new abilities, I can see playing this game forever.

Mad fun! The background music is amazing and it being synced with shooting was dope. I would really liked some effects on hitting the slimes, as I had no idea if my bullets got them or they disappeared before sometimes. The tutorial also felt a bit confusing and hard to read, but once you start playing things make sense. Overall very nice experience!
Banger game! It was really fun to create the track that I attack with and the entire game meshes really well together. The inclusion of a dash definitely made it feel more fleshed out rather than having pure bullets.
Some critiques:
- Most of my health lost was from enemies spawning on me. Having a little indicator a bit before they spawn would be really helpful
- I personally enjoyed the swapping between placing dice and shooting at enemies but for the ones who didn't you could make a key be a quick place which auto places a dice where the track currently is (or nearby spots)
- After playing for a bit the break before the first round started was a bit too long so you could add a skip button if the players already done a round
Omg, wildly creative mechanics. Honestly one of the best entries I've played so far. I love me some Crypt of the Necrodancer, so naturally this game appeals to me right off the bat haha.
First off the instructions were a lil too overwhelming hahah. Some pacing there would be great - breaking them down into separate parts or slides would've helped a lot!
Gameplay wise, I would like if there was a countdown for when the music changes. I really got into the groove of the music (which slaps so hard btw!) , and the abrupt change in tempo breaks me out of the flow.
Another is, currently players are mainly tasked to do two big things at the same time -( 1) fight NPCs (while maintaining the beat) and (2) "manage" and assign the dice. Can get quite overwhelming, especially with swarms of enemies coming after you. You can consider either separating them into two phases, or maybe having the shooting be automatic (players will then be focused on making music out of the cubes and aiming during attacks).
And an idea - maybe can add different drum parts to different mechanics (bass/kick drum, hi-hat, crash symbals, toms, snare). Would be sooooo cool.
Would love to see more, would pay for the game too ngl!
Cheers mate, keep it up!
Thank you for taking the time to write all this. Really appreciate it. I know the mechanics and stuff really need to be ironed out a lot to be perfect. But ... yeah you know 48 hour jam an solo dev. I definitely do take your suggestions into consideration when i try to make a full working title out of it (which i will definitely do really soon).
Wonderful gameplay here - took me a bit to get what was happening (a smoother tutorial would help a lot) but once I figured it out, I really liked it. Some fine tuning could get this to a really good spot. And that beat is choice
Love the game, love the soundtracks. The main thing that bothers me is the fact that I have to stop having fun (shooting) to do maintenance (running away, putting dice in places) before having more fin (shooting again).
Very fun game, with amazing music. But I just held click all the way through instead of keeping up with the beat. With the pink die I didn't see any doownsides, maybe I missed something...
It seems to be focused on audio more than dice, but it's awesomely fun.
I was so confused when I started it, until I start popping dice into the tray at the bottom, and figured that I could just hold down the fire button, then my mind was BLOWN!!! Wicked cool concept!!!
