Refreshing take on a common mechanic in this jam! Thank you for letting me play your game! Played at https://twitch.tv/hedgein <3

Nice, god art and super polished. Only issue is ou cant really see what is on the other side of the dice (same as my game lol) so its hard to plan ahead without having to keep figuring out how a dice is oriented - when you want to focus more on the actual puzzles

Developer

It was intentional to give the player an extra challenge.

Really cool puzzle game! I have seen several games with the same concept but this one adds a lot of interesting mechanics like the pushing blocks, turning blocks and crate.

Pretty nice atmosphere, good sound effect. Really liked how the dice moved. The mechanic is decent.

Btw I found a bug (as shown in the pic, the box floats on water somehow xD)

Could not finish everything because I'm bad at puzzles.

Developer

We are aware of this bug, portals are sometimes fucked up too.

Very nice presentation. Really like the way the dice feels as it rolls around. The introduction of the rotation and push tiles make this one stand out from other sumissions like it. Good work! :)

The presentation is really nice! I like the checkerbox-colored tiles and how the menu is very interactive. The gameplay is simple but the little twists help a lot!

Well done!

i really like the theming on this one, nice job!

Really great puzzle game!

What I liked?

- The Dice roll movement is satisfying

- Some levels give great challenges, I liked the tiles which had a special effect, like rotating, pushing you, etc.

Other comments:

- I would have liked a little music while playing

Overall great work!

Developer

Unfortunately neither me or my friend know how to make music, otherwise we would had.

I almost beated the whole game, but at one of the last levels the teleporters didn't work. Overall a had a good time playing Dice Adventure. Congrats on your submission  TugTrife and IMakiro ! The art is concise and clean, very appealing, and tne learning curve is well done.

This is  a known issue, on some computers it works on others it doesn't. I discovered it only after the time was over as the ones that were playtesting it had no issues. I have no idea why.

Developer(+1)

Did you download the 32bit or 64bit? On my system the teleporters work in the 64bit but not in the 32bit.

Submitted(+1)

I downloaded the 32-bit version.

Developer(+1)

It might be a bug in the 32bit one. Maybe something went wrong during export.

Nice little game. Reminds me of an old flash game I used to play years ago. Something music would have been nice,  but the gameplay and aesthetic was great (visually reminded me of monument valley with the flat colours)!

I might have missed something but it looks like the level select is absolutely useless because at the start all levels are locked and you can't get back there once you unlocked them. Your progress isn't even saved so what is its purpose?
But the rest of the game is good.

Developer (1 edit)

We ran out of time, so the purpose is just to preview the themes of the levels. The code to save progress is there but is not used as it wasn't tested properly.

I really like the visuals and puzzle design. Some music would really improve the overall feel of the game. Nice entry overall!

Developer

Unfortunately we don't have the skill to make some music.

Very nice, the polish is extremely good, though I think a winning jingle would make it just that bit better. I found it interesting that you managed to integrate Sokoban-style mechanics into the game. Also, I liked the ending.

I loved it ! I don't understand how you could make so much solid content in 48 hours, that's amazing.

There re a lot of puzzle this year, but this one feels and looks better then a lot of others!
Also the amount of mechanics and levels you put into the game is fantastic! Very well made!
I feel like it still needs some tips inside of each level, espetialy when you reach a level with new mechanic like "move counter". But yet, it's 48 hours, and you managed to do it very polished in the end, even without such tips. Good job!

Submitted(+1)

Common concept but done pretty well. Nice art-style and good level design. Could use a bit of background music or some ambience. Overall, you had fun making it, and i had fun playing it. Thats all that matter!

Submitted(+1)

I feel like this is one of the better "match the numbers" game that I've seen so far. I feel all the puzzles should have had that max amount of steps counter. That made it a real puzzle game. It should've also been nice if the game could automatically reload levels on failure.

Great job with this one! Really enjoyed it!
