I really like simulations, didn't expect to see one. Great idea, but needs a bit more... anyway it was fun to watch the wildlife!
Cool idea. This seems like a game that can be updated with additional features etc. Given the short time span, no problem that some depth is missing.
The dice mechanic is mostly behind the scenes.
Pretty interisting concept, but not much of a game yet. The system is a bit unbalanced and it tends to get quite buggy over the time. I think that different terrains should had different spawn rates for the animals, since it's random. It would be nice if some of the appex predators died if they did not eat enough or something like this too, that should balance things a bit more. I think it's very promissing, but it would probably work better with less RNG.
Interesting game idea with cute graphics! I think with some more features, this can become a really good game.
Would love if you can check out my game too. Thanks!
love the music
This has alot of potential to become an actual simulation game. Good work :))
Cool little simulation !
Not much of a game, but it was fun to spend some time with it.
very cool. I wonder if you were inspired by sebastian lague's video
Yes it was! I wanted to mess with behavioral systems in ai for the jam, but it ended up being too much task to make a balanced ecosystem with gameplay mechanics in 48 hours.
haha coool. I've been itching to do that same thing for multiple jams now but never found the chance to
so fun, need the expansion now
Neat simulator. Very well done. Would be curious what an expansion would look like. Good job.
Really cool simulator! The snakes are OP.
I think I broke it :D
Funny sandbox though, nice to play around with a bit. Would perhaps be cool to add some missions / objectives to this and a little bit more interactivity.
Very chill game and it was interesting to see how animals interacted with each other.
This gave me game of life vibes. Very cool.
As a simulation its pretty good but as a game.....you cant really play it, still watched it for about 10 mins great art
