Love this game! Not only is the concept fun and original, it was executed with great polish. The tutorial in this game is great, the order in which the bots are introduced is perfect. Great aesthetics as well, the sprite animation is really good. Congratulations on making a great game!
This game is really well made! Normally I think text heavy tutorials are a snooze in jam games, but you really pulled off the pacing and explained the mechanics in a great way. Love the music too, fit's the aesthetic of your game perfectly.
Thank you!
I feared that there was too much text (I wrote it in the last minute before submitting ) but it seems to works well ^^.
Proper credit is due: music is not mine, I've put the references on the main page but I should have done it in the submission page also. It's a free licensed music from incompetech.com.
Glad to know you had a good time with my game :).
Your game is great and really polished! I really liked the concept and graphics :) Keep up the good work! :D
can't start it, i'm a dumb dumb, pressing A, can't read the other key.
let me know so i can play.
Hi!
Sorry for the inconvenience, the other key is "SPC" for space, I know it's a bit tiny but i didn't had time for a proper key configuration. I will add instructions to the main page (It's so obvious, why didn't I think of that earlier -_-).
And the "A" is for the button on a controller :).
The learning phase for this game is so smooth. One robot by one. And everyone uses simililar controls and is explained very good. Nice job!
Also it's amazing how entertaining and and challanging puzzles you managed to craft with those few elements!
Wow! Your game is so polished! Do you have a big experience in coding or with godot? It was really fun to play :)
Thank you :)!
Well, programming is part of my daily job so it's definitely my strong side. But it's the first time I've managed to finish a game and I'm very happy with the result.
And I'm even more happy that it brings fun to players :).
Hi there. I really want to play the game and rate it. But it seems like the Windows build is missing the .pck file. Is it just me?
I'd suggest you to compress the .exe and the .pck together in a .zip archive. Because my device seemed to have a problem with the embeded .pck
And, others feedback, they sound really positive. Congrats!
Hi!
Sorry for the inconvenience, I didn't pay enough attention ^^;
I've changed the download, it should work now :).
thanks, dude :D
Also ( sorry to bother you again ), were you compressing your file using the default compression settings? If so, try using the "best" compression method(it'll reduce the final size by a lot ;) ) And if you're using 7-zip, you can also choose "deflate" compression for wide range compatibility, and choose "Ultra" compression level to make the size even smaller!
It's meaningful for people like me who is lacking internet connection.
EDIT : I just realized that the .pck file is large in size. So I'm sure that you've nicely compressed the game. Sorry for that, and thank you :)
No problem, I can understand :)
The fact is that the musics are taking most of the place (for the graphics part, beside the font, everything is only using a 320*320 image file), I don't know how to reduce their size. If you have any idea, I'll gladly reduce my game size :D.
Awesome game! Livestreamed it, really loved the graphics and audio! Really nice concept! ^^
Wow, first time a game I've made was streamed ^^ (well, I haven't made a lot of game but still).
Very nice of you and glad you liked it :)!
Oh that's great! I've streamed in a few sections so it's in one of my streams here on my channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC0NOIB5QFaVeBY2ECAtt_hg?view_as=subscriber
Edit: this game was actually the first game I livestreamed as it was first on the page. You can view it here:
Cool game! The graphic make me excited and want to play more. To me, the bots are so cute. Nice work, sir!
Nice game! The whole design/art/music felt very classic, and the length was perfect for being a jam game. Definitely the most professional feeling game I've played for the jam so far. Gave me a strong Duskers vibe.
Awesome game with a well made tutorial to help understand the mechanics quickly ! Really like the spritework, and the title screen with the constant teleporting bots at the bottom is super cool, also points for the tone and humor :)
Can't really think of any issues with the game from what i played, only thing is it's a shem there's not more levels XD it made me think of a weird combination of the 2 games "Lemmings" and "Quadraliens" but that really work well.
Godd job dude ! :D
Thank you!
Yes, at some point I thought of Lemmings too :).
I think I'll do a post jam version with more levels (and a polish on the existing ones).
Glad you liked it :)
Haha, well the whole every bot has a single purpose is definitively lemings but don't get me wrong you really made it it's own thing, and i like the fact you have direct control of the bots instead of just a "click, go there" type of thing.
Really cool if you plan to make a post jam version of this ^^
Well done! There's an impressive amount of content here. I only wish the teleporter bots moved as quickly as the others haha
Thank you!
Yes, I the teleport bot is too slow, I'll tweak its speed and battery in a post jam version :)
Awesome game. Really enjoyed how the little bots look and how the tutorial gave you building blocks for the more complex levels to come. Great job.
Haha very cool game, so easy to learn what needs to be done, didn't even read the whole text and was able to fill in the blanks very quick. Nice job!
