Fantastic concept! Great job with the "worldbuilding". Also the art and music is really cool.

A minor suggestion: Maybe add a mini map or some sort of radar to let the player know there is "bubble" closer ?

That's one of my favourite games so far. I loved that the world is a big ocean and when you get far away from any "island", you get the feeling you're really deep . The overall audio works quite well also.

The concept, game setup and overall presentation is really good. The ship movement, and torpedoes in particular felt very realistic. You get the feel of being immersed in a vast world that you can explore, which I found really attractive. The problem I faced was that it was difficult to make progress early on: with the ship being slow, catching fish was difficult, and so was fending off pirates who attack out of nowhere. I guess these aspects will get more fun in the later parts of the game, when the ship becomes a bit more powerful. Otherwise, I think this is a cool game.

Amazing just amazing, love the art and music, the trading mechanics are fun, great job!

Developer

Thanks for playing! We really put in a lot of effort on the art and music so it means a lot!

Woa, what a peaceful game (even if pirates want to shoot you down).

The music helps out. Shout out to the music.

What an original game. That the end goal is to retire and the inverted planets in the sea of space. <3

Constructive note here: it would be really nice if there was some feedback when hit and when pirate ships are hit.

And I completely forgot that the upgrade system existed.

No matter, it was a great game. Thanks for submitting!

Thanks! I wrote all the pieces in the game myself. It鈥檚 like 2 of them and this is my first time actually making something for people to listen to, so it really means a lot.

Oh some feedback would definitely help there, we鈥檒l definitely keep that in mind for the next jam! Thanks for playing!

The atmosphere is really poetic, I love the idea of bubbles in the ocean, and the art is great !
I had a small bug, after a few minutes of play I couldn鈥檛 sell anything, it was as if my inventory was empty but it was full, so I had to stop playing. But it was still a nice experience :)

Developer

Thanks, that means a lot. We were really fond of the concept initially too but later in development it was hard to tell if it was as cool as we thought after the initial spark cooled down. It's nice to hear people liking it.

I found the glitch too while playtesting earlier today where the inventory UI isn't updated when you die. Supposedly you were supposed to lose all items and it just slipped pass our testing. Frustrating, but I'll have to live with it :')

I love the scenic camera and the whole feel to it! However I feel that it was a bit disorientatin at first since the area is so big and hard to know where to get all the materials.

Developer

Thanks! There were a lot of quality of life features that were missing either in hindsight or due to time limitations. A dedicated playtester would've helped address a lot of these issues. We actually shrunk the map quite a lot halfway through cause it took forever to reach anywhere. Glad to hear you enjoyed it :)

Wow ! I love everything about this game (except maby the controls, would have prefered just moving with 4 arrows the classic way, but since the difficulty was maby intended, I won't complain). The art is great, the sound feats the gameplay and the concept, even though it's simple, could be extended to make a larger game out of this ! I loved so much the shape of the world with air bubbles inside the ocean  with boat sailing in them. Congratulations 馃憤

Developer

Thank you. I would love the see a full game too with the ability to dock and explore each tiny world. The boat sailing was one of our first concepts right after coming up with the bubbles, but was implemented pretty late and very spaghettily :)

You brought up a good point with the movement controls. I didn't feel that way since we were playing around so much during the development, but I've had others struggle with it too. Not too sure how the classic way would feel with the camera rotating sometimes.

This looks amazing and initially just pulls you in with the graphics, music and the unique "bubble" concept. I found it a little hard to understand what I have to do. Diving around and shooting at things was fun though.

Developer

Thanks. The main goal of the game is to trade until you gain enough money to end, with various little things to do in between. I agree that it should've been made more obvious in hindsight. Glad to hear that you enjoyed it.

Developer

Thanks for the music, graphic and concept compliments, really hoped they would work out haha
