Nice polished game. Had a lot of fun playing it .

Good job guys :]

Developer

glad you had fun.

This could be the game jam winner! A solid tower defence mechanic with unbelievably cute voxel graphics. I am a massive fan!

Just needs a tiny bit of tweaking to improve the audio feedback I'd say. But a really great entry all round.

Developer(+1)

I'm glad you like it, I will try and work on some improvements once the voting stage is over.

Nice tower defence game, the story intro is very cool! The voxel style is pretty and fits the style.

I'd just add the color indicators from where the monsters are coming as I missed the second origin direction the second wav, which leads me to another thing: please add the reset the wave button!

Developer(+1)

Good idea. The ability to restart from the wave you died on

I used to be obsessed with tower defense games, good memories.

I had really fun playing it, good job!

Really had fun with the weirdness of the towers and enemies. The graphics and sound are top notch. Wasn't very good at it but I tend not to be with this style of game.

Developer

Gald you enjoyed it!

Nice 3D Art, looks great. Lost on the first wave lol

Developer

the game was too easy previously so we had to make it a bit harder!

Graphics are great, the aesthetic is nice. I enjoyed this take on tower defense.

Developer

Thanks for playing!

This was a fun little tower defense type game! Nice work. I felt like I wasn't making enough money, but I wasn't being smart enough with early towers. Nice!

Developer(+1)

the money aspect went through a lot of changes because you would make too much in early stages. Happy you found it fun!

Interesting idea having no grid in a tower defence game! At first glance it seemed like it was too easy, as you can stack objects to make a quite unbeatable barricade, but the resources are also needed elsewhere quite fast, so it still makes a nice balancing act.

Nice work with the graphics as well!

Managed to beat the game on third try.

Developer(+1)

Glad you enjoyed it! it took a lot of time to balance it

Developer(+1)

Well done beating it, I'm glad you liked it

I’m not very good at tower defenses but I found the game quite difficult, wasn’t able to beat the final stage, but had fun trying different strategies.

The theme interpretation was strangely funny and cute haha. The art style and voxel models helped a lot to create this vibe.

I think the game would benefit from having a “cast a spell” system like “Kingdom Rush”, where I could spend some money and cast a damaging spell in an area of enemies or heal some units.

It’s a nice game, congrats to the team!

Developer

Thats a really good idea! Thanks for playing!

I liked the voxel-art style in game and your intro. I'm glad you added a 2x speed up to the game, too. A quick way to restart would also be appreciated.

I played the first few stages a couple of different times with different strategies, but ultimately, none felt particularly rewarding. No matter what I tried, it felt like I was slowly dying rather than winning. Balancing games is so hard, though, especially in a game jam time budget. This was very ambitious.

Overall, a solid game jam entry. Good job!

Developer

appreciate the words! this is only our second time doing a game jam so glad to hear you liked it!

Developer

the game used to be far too easy, and we nerfed quite a bit. playing the game a ton probably skewed our view of it as we knew the strategies of how to beat it beforehand.

Submitted(+1)

A very nice game! I loved the voxel art you used. There are definitely a lot of strategies you can use, and I like that about this game. Very good job!

Developer

Tried hard to balance the game. So I'm glad you like the gameplay, and the art

The enemies waddling is adorable!
