“Answer my question!”
"I'm sorry, but I prefer not to continue this conversation. I'm still learning, so I appreciate your understanding and patience" - Bing Chat
I'll be shocked if this doesn't make 1st in audio! In all seriousness, I loved playing around with the noises when swiping across the buttons.
At first I didn't understand the objective. The question I asked myself most when I first played was: "What is gov.org?" I didn't find the more detailed instructions in the pause menu until my second playthrough.
Instantly, however, I knew how to move, and interact with the mouths - even the text puzzles were pretty intuitive.
After about 3-5 min I had realized I needed to sit on a node, so I parked myself on twitter.com grabbed a L shape block. I scooped all the mouths together and held them offscreen to win!
I had a surprising amount of fun with this silly project. All in all, really amazing stuff for only a single day!
Keep making games!
Thanks for playing, James. Glad you enjoyed it.
It was a bit trippy, which I thought was perfect for the story. Gave a nice 60s sci-fi movie feel. In the end I took the straight-edge piece and scooped them offscreen while downloaded all their Netflix viewing habits.
Awesome! Glad you found an effective strategy so you could watch Netflix in peace.
Very neat story. I included it in my compilation video series for the Godot Wild Jam #56, if you’d like to check it out. :)
Thanks for playing! You do the community a great service. Subbed
Interesting concept, I love the writing. Didn't understand what to do at first but I got it when I hit escape. It really has a surreal vibe to it.
I am not smart enough for this game.
Sorry. I didn't intend for it to be some inaccessible high-brow thing. I hate those games.
I guess I got carried away trying to figure out "What is it like to Be ChatGPT?"
Thanks for the feedback! Next time: simpler game, better user feedback, more clear goals for players.
This was pretty fun! I had some issues figuring out what to do, but once I realised I could scoop all the mouths up with a block and keep them away (ew, human interaction) I nailed it!
Well done!
IKR!
I like to build a little fort around the wikipedia network node and drink from it while the humans chatter outside the walls.
The whispering got me so good 😭 11/10 voice acting
Great submission!
In terms of feedback, I'd also suggest the ability to re-pick blocks up again.
Thanks for the kind words about the very rushed VA.
Yeah. Blocks should have been more adjustable. Thanks for playing!
I had a lot of fun moving around the blocks, wish I could move them again after dropping them.
Great submission!
The combination of the intermittent synths, the constant whispering, and general lack of direction on what to do genuinely made me feel like I was having a schizophrenic episode. Great job!
