Controls feel very good and the music is nice. I got stuck on a level because I forgot to kill one enemy but I couldn't jump back up again and there also was no reset or restart button..

Love the minimalist style, you really made it work. I think maybe the gun's range could be reduced to increase the challenge as well as adding some variance to some of the enemies' projectiles. Btw, make sure backtracking is a possibility if you have to clear all the enemies. Some are easy to skip. But overall great entry
Whoa! This is fast-paced crazy fun. Well it would be if I wasn't on a laptop, trackpad sucks for controlling.
Still, awesome fun lil game. There are not enough platforms on trains I've decided!
Sometimes you don't need much to make a great game. You really nailed the production part I think. You really prioritized well and put work where it matters : level design, enemy visuals, polish. Awesome result.
Game design is great, level length is perfect and having 3 hp is the correct amount of challenge. The range on the pistol is also well calibrated, it's the most important design decision you took. It forces you to actually dodge projectiles, but also gives you a bit of leniency for positioning yourself. This kind of design stuff often goes unappreciated in games but it's very important, so good job and great vision.
Also, the fast respawn and constant checkpoints. Sooo important. Jammers, take inspiration, I don't want to restart your 5 min games for 1 mistake. With that said, segmenting different challenges is very hard, I can tell you spent a lot of time on level design.
Small polish neatpicks :
- the train separation kinda looks like a hole. Maybe it could be transparent ? Idk.
- maybe enemies could've had a different color ? Sometimes they were hard to tell apart until they attacked. Could also be corrected by having more contrasted shapes. I understand why you kept all the projectiles though, I think it was a good idea (makes the bullet hell segments easier to read).
Super polished, very fun game, smooth controls. The gameplay is fun, however it could defintely use some more mechanics in terms of new enemies or weapons or movement etc, i went through 5 levels where it was practically the same thing just harder with the exception of the frog level(which was a nice surprise :D).
overall it was really nice though! props!
Great platformer. I like the music and audio in general, and the smooth controls.
Really smooth controls, there is a place you cannot reach halfway through the game (I think it was stage 3 or 4). On the other side I would suggest that it was a little bit irrelevant if it was a train or not, so it doesn't fit much the theme, but cool graphics.
I like the art style alot very cute. The game feels fast paced (which is good) though a big part of that may be the hyped music haha. Controls feel good shooting and moving is fun. I will say though there doesn't seem to be much tie into the theme of Train. It feels like its own seperate thing but you happen to be on a train and thats all. Could also use checkpoint system maybe
Fun little game. I like the art style here and its a good example of simple and effective art. Default volume was a bit high but that isn't a huge issue. I really appreciate the easy mode toggle, that is a bonus to accessibility for people like me who are terrible at platformers and bullet hells. But it didn't seem mush easier, I guess I am just really bad lol. Didn't play to the end but go through a few levels. Never found the frog :(
Had a great time with this one, good challenge and satisfying. Movement is smooth and the art style is really effective in it's simplicity.
