I enjoyed it very much! The vibes are immaculate!
As others have mentioned, it's a bit cryptic, but I think it fits the retro-style and figuring things out was fun for me.
I even managed to complete the mission! Maybe I'll return one day to finish it as the other Core.
The setting reminds me of Armored Core, I wonder if it's intentional.
I have hard-locked myself, twice, on the first battle-screen. I think I got stuck in the enemy after dashing into them? I even tried turning the console on and off again, but it didn't help, so I had to restart the
universewebpage. Luckily I only lost a minute.Other than that, everything was great! Good job!
Thanks for the reply,
Glad the bug you found was not that game breaking :)
I really like the art style. It's a pretty unique idea for the loading screen, where it unpacks the pack. The virtual console is really nice.
Glad you liked it!
Thank you! :)
super cool, I love the idea of console controller,
Thank you! :)
I'm blown away by the originality of this game, impressive scope for a jam game, the style, the art, the audio are perfect for a jump in the past, a beautiful interpretation of the retro style. I made it a bit around and talked with others core, the map seems quite big. I would add more info into the game itself, the web page of the submission is quite extensive, but the nature of the gameplay could be a little overwhelming at first, maybe a brief tutorial would help to get into it. Very nicely done, congrats.
Thank you very much for the feedback! :)
i am mindblown by this game, honestly could be its whole thing, sadly could not get much into it, while relitavely simple its too slogish and complex to me so i never figured out what i had to do.
I'm sorry for the lack of intuitiveness of the game, we tried to make it look like an old video game so some things ended up being difficult to understand :(
And thank you very much for playing the game and for leaving a feedback :)
The presentation of the game is super strong, it looks so polished it's really really impressive, good job!
Thank you very much! :)
This was super cool and well presented. I love the manual and the immersion of running the virtual console. I disliked clicking on the screen for controls, having mapped keyboard controls would have let me more fully enjoy the game.
Thanks for the feedback about the game! :)
Incredible concept! I really love the manual, the console design(sounds, visuals, and so on) and the game is really fun to play. But I think is a little difficult at first. Good luck!
Happy to know that you liked the game/console concept! Thank you for playing! :)
Next level presentation. Loved going through the manual and understanding it. I was genuinely blown away when I started exploring the map. Good job all.
It's good to hear that! Thank you for the feedback!
Oh wow this is a great concept. Loved the whole design of a console and the instruction manual.
However, wow is it hard to start playing. Not sure how to make this better without ruining the original concept
Thank you for the feedback! Glad you liked the concept of being a video game simulation :)
