Good submission! Character selection and menu created impression of finished indie game! The graphics, the audio! MMMmmM! But the main gameplay lack some improvements. I’ve played Mac version and it was lagging every time when “chunk” was loaded as I swam forward. It’s not very straightforward how to “throw” boxes, at first I was throwing them just above myself :/ Also it’s hard to know if you throw well or missed, because there is no hit indication :( In the end the game is complete and you can win and you can lose, it’s pretty and with nice music. What else I was expecting of jam game?) Good woks guys! I’ll be glad to play improved version, if you mind to make it after jam! Wish you luck

It's time, once again, to take a look at the veteran team and their game.

To start, I'll talk about art. It's quite high quality in terms of fidelity, but like Perfect Cell and the weird Green Tile (DBZ Abridged reference), there's a flaw that I can't unsee, and it's in the splash screen's animation loop. Most of it is on point, but there's a foot that does not go back to its original position, so the loop abruptly resets it.

One day, I'll figure out how a loading screen works.

I chose the pink racing boat. Unfortunately, the act of throwing junk seems to be a little awkward because it just...goes upward. I didn't know about jumping in the first attempt, but then I figured out that I could jump the enemy boats to circumvent their nature to just shift away from you as you encroached on their boat. The task became rather unsatisfying.

I find it strange to think, but this one...it fell short, and it just seems uncharacteristic. Am I misjudging things? I'm hesitating to push the button and put this down, but it worries me, my own failures notwithstanding.

The graphics and music were great. Unfortunately the game itself was not engaging and although I was able to win by overloading three ships, it just left me wishing for a different game... oh I tried playing another character and glad I choose the fast one the first time.

This looks like it could have been a fun ship battle game (not sure how you would have tied it to the theme, but it would have been fun)

Love the Wind Waker vibes!! Like others have said it feels like the core idea of the game could use a bit more polish (i. e., I'm pretty sure you're not supposed to be able to double jump infinitely xD) but hey, the time crunch is tough on everybody. It was quite fun regardless!

Super interesting idea. Wish there was an in-game tutorial though, as it took me way too long to realise that holding Left Click will "charge" the attack. Loved the art and music though!

The graphics and music are great! I'd like a tutorial or something because I didn't really understand how to play

Very nice idea, graphics are great. But it sometime crushes, also blinks on the water are very distracting

Great game, but it feels a bit unfinished. I liked the character design and music. The menu and character selection screen also look awesome!

As for throwing stuff at the enemies, I think it would feel better if there were some feedback if I hit or missed.I managed to beat the game once but I didn't even realize that I actually overloaded someone, it's difficult to notice.

Also, I don't see why should we overload these little boats with cargo, they're just minding their business and aren't hurting anyone. If you had to dodge their attacks, I think it would make the game more fun.

I found it hillarious that when you jump, all the other ships jump, too.

Overall, I liked the game: it's colorful and funny. Great job!

Love the graphics and music! Maybe some tutorial or explanation will be welcomed :) But I guess that the figuring it out was part of the fun :)

Great artwork and the music is really good. The concept is really good but I just wish the game gave more explanation on the objectives and the control. It took me a couple of minutes to learn that I had to hold the left-mouse button to increase gauge strength to throw the cargo toward the opponent's ship. It might also be a good idea to play a small animation or sound or remove the opponent's ship once they've overloaded.

Art and sound direction for this game are outstanding!
