Nice one!!  All three of you guys totally knocked it out of the park with your roles! The fluid animations, rich sound design, and super-smooth gameplay structure that holds it all together... it's just... *chef's kiss.* It's definitely not easy to accomplish something this professional in a week, but you guys nailed it!

Congrats on your first teamup and fantastic submission!!

P.S. The way the deep voice says "You have died" in the Game Over song will never not make me chortle uncontrollably xD

Thank you so much!! It was definitely a new experience for all of us but it was so cool seeing it come together in the end. Solonka's art was very evocative and easy to write music to. I'm very glad you enjoyed the death tune too, I was a little worried I went overboard there ;D

I was also frankly amazed with how far Noitcani managed to push this game, they're a coding and team-management powerhouse.

Thanks again for your lovely words MysteryLad! Very curious to see what you've come up with this time, I'll be sure to check out your game asap!

Very good looking, and the music and sounds are amazing! I really like the game over song hahaha. It did not run very well on the web version for me, but it worked just fine on the executable. Congratulations for the great work!

Developer(+1)

Oh wow Geminimax thanks so much for playing, sorry about the web lag. And not just that, but for going the extra mile to download the executable! Glad you liked the game over song!! PassivistEfforts wrote lyrics for it even HAHA

Thanks a lot for playing and your kind words! I wasn't sure of the death song at first, so very happy you enjoyed it!

THE COMBINATIONS AND TURRETS!!! You really did an amazing job tying the game world together!!

Developer

Thanks for playing Celery!! Really glad you liked it! We had fun brainstorming for possible food combinations! We actually have names for them, but they didnt make it to the players eyes.
IceSlice (Pizza + Icecream)
Deepdish (Pizza + Soup)
SprayTray (Icecream + Soup)

Haha

Gives a ton of room for different playstyles, super easy to pick up, amazing job!

Developer

Thanks Vindictivity for playing!! Glad you enjoyed the flexibility :

The art and music are amazing!.

The game feels great, and I love how the "turrets" start to clean up the waves

There is some lag when enemies spawn, perhaps it's just my computer or the web port. I guess that's the only thing that could be improved.

Great submission guys!

Developer

Hey Franco thanks for playing!! I think it was a bad decision on my part to run a "While Loop" iteration to dynamically select spawn positions instead of selecting a select set of spawn points. I also could have optimized the instancing of new enemies better! Hope the lag did not prevent you from reaching the end of the game, as our artist and musician put in a lot of effort for the ending sequence. The executables for the various OS should perform better.

I'm glad you liked the hard work of our artist and musician, they are incredibly talented!

Developer

Thanks a lot for playing Franco! We're aware of the lag issue, and the executable versions do perform better. Very happy you enjoyed it nonetheless, thanks again for your kind words!

Heyy! Don't be ashamed of the "lag issue", suff like that happens all the time, especially when we try to deliver software in a short period of time. I guess that my game also has troubles with the web version in some browsers. It's not a big deal, and I completed the game successfully!

Cool game. Was fun to try out different towers and weapons :) Was sadly struggling a bit with lag. The comic at the start is really cool!

Thanks for liking the comic! I loved it too. Full credits to our artist solonka!

I really loved the art and audio on this one (fantastic song btw). Well done to all of you, I feel like this one is gonna be a hit.

One aside, there seems to be some hitching in the Web version when enemies spawn, not sure if that's just me.

Developer

Thank you very much for playing! It's the first time teaming up for all of us and it was a lot of fun seeing our work come together, very happy you enjoyed it! And I don't think it's just you, it does the same thing for me sometimes and the downloadable version is smoother in this regard.

Thanks again for your kind words and feedback!
