That took an unexpected turn, I like the way you told the story.
btw I see you used Godot 4.3, I thought you chose the new version because you can disable sharedbuffersupport?

Developer(+1)

Thanks!

I used 4.3 because the web audio was much better than 4.2. There was a lot of crackling in 4.2.

Is it safe to disable sharedbuffersupport on itch with 4.3dev6? I saw it was being fixed but haven't tested it.

I'm not sure, I haven't compiled it myself yet. Dev 6 is supposed to have all the features, but lacking bugfixes of later versions. I would try it on a test itch project first to be safe.

Loved the vibe of this one. The telegraphing of your progress was super clear (I was taking notes on how you did it to inform my own future puzzle design hehe), and I loved the sound design -- night ambience with crickets chirping, bells ringing, and the sound effects that faded in whenever you found a constellation. I'm curious, was there ever a plan to outline the constellations in the sky on completion? Or to put in a soundtrack in the same key/scale as the bells? Definitely not a "this feels missing", I really like it as is, but moreso asking out of curiosity because it seemed almost like the constellation types and bell sounds were too carefully chosen for it not to be the foundation for something like that.

I'm glad you enjoyed it. I really like your project too. I think you're on to something great with the black-out mechanic.  And yes, you're spot on about the constellation outlines and the soundtrack. I ran out of time but both are definitely going in any future versions.

Interesting game to play, felt very original and loved the audio.

That was very fun to try different combinations to find out what will happen.  Visual clues was very clear.

I enjoyed this, it was just the kind of eerieness I liked. I felt like an Arkham cultist.

Interesting idea and nice bell sounds. I had a few issues though, as on my old laptop, the top of the screen scrolled out of view if I wanted to see the bottom. Nice effort overall!
